I mean, I don’t think you need any validation in order to enjoy the ships you do. Not everyone is going to have the same ships appeal to them and that’s fine! As long as you’re having fun then that’s all that matters.

While I enjoy all individual renditions of maet, neul, and bin together (sungseok, bnb, neulmaet, etc.) I personally enjoy writing and reading the three of them together the most. ot3 pairings can provide a new perspective to preexisting ships since you get to explore how these three peoples relationships blend with each other, as well as how one on one their relationships form knowing that they have mutuals feelings for each other, as well as for the other person in their relationship. for neulbinmaet, what is so sweet about them is all the respect, admiration, and love they have for each other—they inspire each other and have helped each other grow, and these foundations give a lot of potential for relationship study in fics.

anyways, sorry for going on for so long, but ultimately, don’t be afraid to enjoy the ships you like, this rpf/rps thing is supposed to be something fun!

oh man I feel like my process is all over the place.

I start off by having an idea and writing as much of it down as I can, and then from there I brainstorm who I can shove into said situation, who I’d have the most fun writing with this prompt etc. Once I have that down I make a more extensive outline. I also sometimes use the plot templates on ellipsus to help keep everything organized into sections. Those are rlly helpful especially for longer fics.

If I get really, really stuck I don’t force myself to keep writingC but I will go back and reread, edit around, and jump between wips which is kind of messy but yeah. I work on like 3-4 wips at a time this way.

Another hack I found useful is using the font that is used on ao3, verdana/lucida sans I owe u my life.

Again this is kind of all over the place but I hope it gives some insight into my process??? if I recommend anything it’s the ao3 font trick that rlly was a game changer for me.
