Hi! Also a wannabe fic writer who reaaaally loves your fics (seriously I have read them so many times that I have some of my favorite dialogue memorized). I just wanted to ask: How do you differentiate povs or character's inner monologue when writing in third person. I've been trying to get done my first Chaerji fic but when I go back and read I can't help but notice that it doesn't feel like I'm reading a different characters perspective and it's more like just changing the angle of the camera (I hope that made sense lol).
Anyway, thank you so much for sharing your works. You truly are one of the authors that inspired me into finally giving writing fics a shot (even though I'm still struggling and trying to figure it out)

i would say honestly watching their content helps? both watching their content and reading other fics. it’s hard to differentiate between povs but it always helps if you have an idea of how they act or talk based on content and videos. they really show themselves thru youtube or bubble when you look into it ! and i would make sure that you try and imagine their perspective based on the universe you’re trying to put them in. how would yeji respond to an apocalypse versus chaeryeong for example? i think that chaeryeong is more body focused and yeji is more inner monologue for example if that helps! good luck writing 🥹🥹🥹

very curious on how u approach writing? as a wannabe writer (with like so many wips that i cant commit to finish) im always in so much awe reading people’s fics and works seeing their writing voice the plots and everything ^^
ahh this is such a nice question! for me, i usually use an outline but i also like to imagine the relationship between the characters. when i have their dynamics down it makes everything easier? like for an example when i write yeji and chaeryeong i like to establish what makes them important to each other, what makes them like each other, and what is keeping them from being together. all that makes it easier to finish because i have a goal (the emotional barrier/what’s keeping them apart). but at the end of the day you just have to put words on the page! even if you think they’re bad, writing them down is better than a blank document.

How did you come up with the premise for blue as a bruise? Why yeji as the hero and not chaeryeong?
hi!! good question. to me, yeji is someone who already has so much responsibility on her shoulders irl, so it made sense to translate it to a supes au and give her more of a life or death sense of duty. and chaeryeong to me is someone who is so bright and sure in herself already, so it made more sense to have her be a citizen that teaches yeji she can enjoy life too. ty for the question!!

No, putting stuff into a storm drain doesn't hurt the environment. It's not littering, and the trash usually stays there for quite a while; it might even decompose there if it's paper. Also, the water gets treated before it goes anywhere important, so it's okay to pour dirty liquids into them. The only thing to be careful about is not to put so much stuff in the same one that it would cause a drainage issue when it rains.
