Hello. First of all let me say you're one of my favorite author. I had a question. I remember reading about a new addition to your hocus pocus series ... something about nekoz ? is that still in the cards for some time along the way ? Just wondering .... anyway I love you I hope you have the most wonderful day
hey pom! could you talk a little more about your royalty au?
hello :] sure! the royalty au is more like an inspired by bridgerton and also very very loosely, portrait of a lady on fire (except it won't devastate me. important.) ncej au. it was prompted for fth by my lovely friend hal and we brainstormed a couple of ideas together and without spoiling too much, the premise is essentially that euijoo is the second son of an earl and nicholas has been commissioned by euijoo's mother to paint his portrait which is the kicking off point, but there are other plot points and tidbits i don't want to reveal too much of yet!! (for instance, nicholas' background, which is more than just a mere commoner painter. important later!!!) but it's very much centered on romance, sort of bridgerton-esque setting with dukes and lords and kinda regency era except it's a fictional country yknow. but kind of that vibe more than euijoo ruling over a kingdom etc
hey pom! how did you start journaling? and where do you get inspiration for your spreads? do you already have something in mind (ie: color, specific idol, layout) or do you just go with the flow?
hullo :] i've been journaling in a lot of different forms since i was young but it was just a hobby i picked up for when i wanted time for myself and to use my hands! usually i get inspiration from anything around me whether it's an ad i saw or an mv or a song. usually what helps guide me is if i have a piece of junk or a sticker or some other piece that i want to be the main part of it and then i slowly build around it!!
i don't like leaving much white space or doing just one layer, so i like to play a lot with layering materials and textures :] i mostly go with the flow but i try to make sure i don't have a lot of sharp edges exposed and layer a lot of stuff that way! hope that helps?? 💖
OMG Yay ok please tell me about your pens, too. Which ones do you like? Do you use white ink pens sometimes?
Also: do you use any of your journals as a planner? Currently trying to gather inspo on where to divide my planner/ reflections/ scrapbooking. Since I love the stuff you post, I figured you're the perfect person to ask!
AH!!! ok. my all time favorite pen is the uni-ball signo um-151 in 0.38mm. most of the ones i use are gel pens in either 0.38mm or 0.4mm. i rarely go higher or lower than that since i like a fine line a lot but it depends on your preference! and some pens are scratchier at .38 so i might go up to .5 but again it depends! i also like the pilot hi-tec-c in 0.4mm! i use white ink pens for some art stuff but jelly roll is a good option for white ink along with the pilot juice or pilot juice up!!
as for a planner, i'm more of someone who likes to have it separate and laid out for me since i have a lot to calendar for work and other things, so i use a nolty planner which has a monthly and weekly layout! i tend not to mix that with my journaling since both can get pretty voluminous 👍
Hello Pom! I hope I’m wording this right, but what is your “journal lineup”? What kind of journals do you have and what do you write in them/use them for? :) Have a nice day!
HIIIII!!! my favorite question to answer...ask me about my pens next..i have a lot of journals, all of which i use because i have a genuine problem and am addicted to stationery but!! the main ones i have use are:
- midori md codex for my junk journaling which i have used and re-bought for many years!! a big favorite of mine;
- the one journal i post a lot is my paper republic xl with the different inserts for collecting words + definitions, morning pages/brain dumps, and creative writing (but i haven't been using it as much lately since it's a lot to carry around);
- lately i've been switching between the a5 maruman mnemosyne ruled journal for journaling and the b6 midori grain for on-the-go writing!!
i have a couple of others i've used though the years: apica cd notebook, kleid a5 grid, rhodia, stalogy, but the ones above are my current go-tos :]
what is your absolute favourite pairing to write ?
oh no....the day has come for me to answer this question.......you know this is so hard to answer because my favorites truly come in waves for different reasons and for different things i want to write!! i think bnb always has a special place for me as the pairing that got me into zb1 but i also love neulmaet for how sweet they are with each other 💘 also sungseok..would love to write more of them!! for &t i LOVEEEEE nekoz. so much. i will say though niktak has also been sooo special esp with the crow taki fic which was such a delight to explore 💖💖💖💖 so in sum: yes
this is good to sound very French but my favorite recipes (that look hard but are quite easy) are : boeuf bourguignon and Hachis Parmentier.
Very excited about this upcoming fic :D
Maybe you answered already but are you participating in Hidd&n gem ?
hi hi! sadly i had to drop because i have some life things that'll be taking up a lot of my time around submission time so i wouldn't be able to manage it :'( i'm a bit sad to let it go but excited to read things from friends and others!! hope i can come back to the next fest whenever it happens!! 💔
wait can you talk more about how you see your ideas and the way you want to write them in colors?? that’s cool :0
could you share the moodboard you did for your fuma/yuma recent fic?
hi!!! yes of course :] when i have an idea for a fic, i like to think of the kind of tone i want to convey, whether it's light and silly or melancholic or complicated or emotional or a combination of those and to achieve what that tone might feel like to the reader, i like to envision what color that might look like when setting a scene - if the vibe i want is moody, sad, slow, or feels like nighttime, maybe i'll use imagery and words that are darker or feel like blues or purples or pinks like dusk or have those in mind when building the atmosphere!! and i'll share the moodboard after this as well on my twt <3
(2/2) ran out of space on my first ask so im continuing here lol. anyway, i also like ur writing because it’s descriptive enough where i can imagine the scene playing out in my head, like a movie. and i also feel like with your writing, it actually feels like im in the characters head, yk? which is cool!!! and i want my writing to have the same flow like you some day 🥺
all that said, do you have any fuma/yuma recs??? i haven’t looked into them but the snippets you posted made me interested :0
thank you so much! i really try to make my writing be a little cinematic and my favorite thing to show or at least hint at what everyone is thinking and feeling :]
off the top of my head i don't have recs since i'm still dipping into it too but i'll boost this to oomfs who have any suggestions 💐💐💐
