to be honest, my relationship with fandom and writing grew and reshaped itself drastically in the last year. i don't know about favorite, because every fandom and every fic/wip/au i ever loved made me who i am now, but i think my relationship with creation right now is the most healthy it has been since like. early 2023. it has less to do with fandom and more with Me, but i am insanely happy writing for &t atm for a ton of reasons! it probs rlly helps that i feel like for the first time in a while i found My People (shoutout soup), but again, i think this is more of a personal growth moment than a "&t is my favorite fandom to write for" thing (it also helps that &t are sick and insane and its contagious and terminal and i caught it very bad lmao) anyway sorry for rambling to your simple question anonie. i think there are universes in every single aspect of life tho

hai haiii!! &t had been in my periphery for a whileee & i even listened to deer hunter a few months after it came out but i properly got into them bc when btl came out, a handful of my mutuals (shutout juno & jj) kept talking/rting stuff abt it so i was like. Okay fine i'll check it out. and when i say btl as a song And mv are tailored specifically FOR MEEEE i really mean it... i loved it soo much & tbh i was ready to be a casual but then the performance vid came out and i just Caved lmao

as for jjunik, to be completely honest i was ready to be indifferent to them bc i never really vibe with the most popular ship of any of the fandoms im part of (im a rarepairer at heart 🤍) but the more i learned and watched the more i realized they are not overrated at all and were in fact made in a lab to make me clinically insane. (to quote world famous senny oomf. "heartbreaking; the most popular ship of the fandom is actually quite compelling.")

as for my favorite thing abt the jjuneko dynamic,,, man theres so much. when i say that they were made in a lab to drive me insane i really mean it, they hit So Many marks for me. im particularly obsessed with the fact that their main obstacle is their unwavering love for each other. they love each other So Much and its so simple when they're together that they're willing to let each other get away with anything and everything (i.e: bej's spirals, nc's constant adrenaline seeking, bej's emotional unavailability, nc's avoidance, their self-sacrificing/selfless tendencies that seem to be multiplied by five billion when it comes to each other, Etc.) jjuneko are Genuinely very interesting to me, they're so layered and convoluted and they're also extremely simple. the most beautiful thing abt them is their everlasting love, the most mortifying part is how gruesome the concept of "everlasting" truly is. they're forever doomed and theyre okay with it bc its forever. they wont ever be able to uproot the other from their esophagus. they live under each other's nailbeds. they made homes in each other's lungs. every single breath is compromised. jjuneko is insane and im krilling myself.Today..

hihiii, im super glad u enjoyed the fic ^^ it was a blast to write tbh. the main idea came from a tweet on my priv [i'll add screenshots below this tweet], but it was basically inspired by humyum's lack of overall communication, ym's desperation to be seen by fm & fm's avoidant type.

the game concept just felt appropriate for fm, not only bc of who he is (gamer)but how he presents himself to others (hero) and how others therefore interact with him. im a sucker for metaphors in general, so this hit everything in my brain to go batshit insane with lmao

i wrote the actual text of the fic in two sittings. after the first writing session, i started looking for html & css that could help convey what i had in mind for it. which btw. absolute hell on earth for me. i dont get coding at all, its like my brain sees a / or a < and it straight up shuts down 😭 so it was a struggle to get at first but my partner is awesome & explained it to me in terms i could finally understand (massive shout to my nerdy gay lover).

after i had the text down & the html/css (somewhat) figured out, i spent like. nine hours coding shit. and meanwhile i had a vision, i just tested what worked best for the overall intent of the fic until i was satisfied.

the different formats were decided with very specific intent. fun fact, there were actively four fumas being portrayed! everything down to even quotation marks has a purpose, and i'd be super down to give a detailed explanation of that too if anyone wants it, but i kept it intentionally vague bc i think the unknown helps the overall sense of uneasiness :3c im super super open to interpretations of what stuff meant !!! pleek i would love that more than anything tbh
