oh yes, we can so disccus this. i find bej's pushy pursue for normalcy so enthralling, i think its funny as hell to watch him lie and bend the truth in general but its specially obvious when he's talking abt ncls. he's always trying to make things as chill and platonic as humanly possible, nothing to see here, just normal friendship, he promises! believe him! please. i dont think he realizes his constant rewriting of events to strip them from anything that blurs the lines between platonic & romantic makes them feel even more uhhh not suspicious but like, that much more Obvious. like sure thing bud, you, an introvert, for sure slept with a friend of a friend on a five day trip on the same bed, that's totally normal and aligns to your personality. like sure, of course, you're being soooo nonchalant and inconspicuous! keep it up bud! i find his inability to lie properly yet his compulsion to keep things separated and sanitized so fucking fascinating. he's the guy of all time
