I feel like this conversation of 'are they close, are they not' is something we go through routinely every year 😭 kinda bored atp can we do something new.... that aside though imo sungseok have actually toned down a lot post clam date custom rings saga which is actually Understandable. the more stable the relationship is the more loud gestures feel unnecessary at times, yanno? sungseok weren't typically the slap it in our face type to begin with anyway (except for those one off times when one of them loses it, most often bin) but even still i agree with some anons on the fact that they've toned down. but thinking they're less close is laughable atp in their relationship (that we have witnessed). i will laugh at you if you tell me matthew isn't one of hanbins closest people sorry not sorry. you gotta be just delusional (/neg) at that point. even if you don't ship them romantically i think it's pretty obvious to anyone with eyes that sungseok are close to each other. ALSO only actual legal marriage trumps custom made ring finger rings in dating culture in south korea, esp for people mattbins age so people can do with that what they will. You COULD theoretically interpret those rings platonically but even then its a huge sign of commitment either way xjdgdj idk man i think its really annoying when this conversation gets brought up. its 5 years this year since they met, if they had a falling out or drifted apart they had plenty time for that esp with how much of their daily life they spend together. people CAN drift apart but i think it's pretty clear mattbin haven't. For a latest well known example hanbin picking up pokemon (more seriously) says enough imo. Even going as far as to buy a 3ds to trade with (just matthew probably). idk i dont think i would put that much money/effort/resources into a relationship that isn't really strong or stable anymore. They're adults. If they drifted apart, things would look very different.
