New sungseoker here! I was wondering but do you know if sungseok lived together as trainees in cube? In bp they said they dormed together but was that a dorm with just the two of them? Or was it with lots of trainees? It's ok if you don't know but I've always considered you to be a sungseokologist jsjsjjdkl also I've just been curious since whenever bin describes it it makes it seem like it was just them but realistically there had to be more people

mmm i dont think they specifically mentioned that it's only the two of them in the room, they just said that they were roommates before. yeah realistically there had to be more people (i'm just basing this on trainee stories from idols from other companies... there's like 5 or 6 of them in one room while they were trainees) i can't remember on top of my head rn if there's another former cube trainee who mentioned living with hanbin but i rmb there are idols who mentioned being close with hanbin when they were in cube!!

thank you friend ur so sweet!!! š„¹ basically i'm just a big fan of the friends to lovers trope... after seeing a bit of their back story in ep 1 of bp i was IMMEDIATELY hooked š actually i'm not a bp zerose and i got to know them just one day before their official debut and matthew became my bias with hanbin as my 2nd bias, but at that point i didnt know about their history yet, so imagine my surprise when i watched boys planet and saw them in ep 1 š ofc at first im just shipping them casually and then i found out about the rings... the little anecdotes when they were trainees like the stargazing and stuff... the more i learn about them the more they cemented themselves as one of my top otps ever š„¹š i think about just how fated they are to be together and it drives me crazyyyyjjfjdd

ngl rn all these folks needs to consume actual jebe media instead of certain rps media only and getting the distorted ship focused content and theories as actual fact cos accusing any of the members of not being close is pure insanity!!!!! shipping is supposed to be fun and silly not this mayhem of tomfoolery yāall do on the tl and their tiktok and youtube comments!!!! on any given content of theirs has these ppl literally having fights over shipsā¦..like letās have some decorum pls. And if yāall opened ur eyes a bit itās kinda obvious most of those ship accounts anti the members they see as a threat to their ship and itās wild seeing they are massive accounts as wellā¦..
personally i think people can consume what they want whether it be clips or every content in full (depending on their capacity) but if they're not watching group content/full videos and only watch clips of their ship, then they should just focus on them and not speak about other ships and members bc they know nothing š¤·

be more open abt their friendship u say while mattbin is one freudian slip away from revealing they are lovers, these two coworkers mess around the nicknames and honorifics so bad itās incriminating obvious without even throwing in the two rings they apparently handcrafted for eo. More obvious u say while im personally screaming into the void asking who in their right mind would casually drop i loved him my whole life abt on a random tuesday abt their coworker unprompted and the other admitting they make bin go on a drive with him because thatās the only sure fire way to make them talk abt his worries and make him relaxā¦.. are we in alternative timelines??

Iām genuinely convinced this fandom is in mass psychosis cos 7k likes for a tweet saying bin is lonely in a group he himself decided to stay in with fuckass wk1 out of all the options likeā¦ā¦ā¦ he loves those members down and so do they???? and saying he isnāt close with maet specifically????? Like what sort of selective amnesia is this? even a goldfish wouldnāt think this cos he literally brings maet up every other day i shit u not, all u have to do is look at his chats, lives and all those interviews he does? itās baffling to me that someone that just leaks love like bin is being accused of being coworkers with his bandmates that literally smears their love back onto him. do yāall think for a second they would have chosen to continue as a group otherwiseā¦ā¦? aside from all that whatever he reveals abt their relationships are out of his own violation without invasive prompting and lets keep it that way instead of accusing them of fanservice and lying for simply bringing up the four people he literally spends his whole day with.
i try not to mind those kinds of tweets so much anymore (even if they actually piss me off sometimes lol) bc if they truly believe that then i dont think they know anything about him. we're not supposed to know too much anyway, but even if you base it off his interactions with the members and how he talks about them, you'd just KNOW. like the way he looked so happy while talking about the members in his live yesterday?? oh he adores and cherishes them sooooo much and they all love him back! so no, i will never see what they see when they say "poor hanbin" or hanbin is lonely or whatever bc even in rps context we have SUNGSEOK, jyungbin, bintael, and geonbin!!! all very yummy ships!!! i love hanbin and i want him to be so so loved that i would never think of wanting to see him "lonely"

Maybe Iām being a little delulu but I honestly feel like bin saving matt name as ācube Mmttā is so intimate and cute š„ŗ he definitely had a reason for it and the way he was smiling while explaining it.... it wasnt random like it actually meant something special to him and the photo he chose too he has so many cute pics of matt so I donāt think he just picked one randomly or because he was lazy to change it feels like he chose that one on purpose because itās meaningful to him also and I donāt believe itās just a funny memory especially since it ID he really loves it and matt reaction made it even more obvioushe looked like he knew exactly why his name was saved like that and he was so calm about it that kind of reaction makes it feel like its something personal and cute between them not random at all also bin once said he keeps names based on the impression someone leaves on him that reminds me of the first time he saw matt at Cube he thought he was older but when he approached him that impression changed immediately into something softer and cuter So the name āCube Mattā feels like it holds that memory I just find it so adorable and sweet rlyuuušš
i knowww like maybe to most people the contact name might seem too casual or whatever but hanbin's a very sentimental guy... like he said with his explanation about gunwook's contact name (which is still bopeul gunwookie xD) he doesn't want to change it bc he doesnt want the memories that they shared to just go away :') so yeah i agree that it holds a special memory for both of them :') also if he's had that old id photo of matthew since they were trainees it means it's been his contact photo on all of the phones he ever had since they first met aaaaa and it's also cute that hanbin's gatekeeping the photo to himself (bc matthew will scold him LOLLL) and he kept it as matthew's contact photo so he can see it every time matthew calls ššš
matthew's reaction to it was funny bc it didn't seem like it was news to him lol they're so fucking cute ughhhhh

I wish sungseok were more open about their friendship, i know we aren't entitled to their personal life but it just upsets me seeing other pairings having so much good content, it also hurts seeing people undermine sungseoks friendship, but honestly are they even wrong at this point? They barely show that they are important to each other so why would anyone believe that they are? Like you can just see how much bin adores the other members like hao, gyuvin, yujin, but he rarely ever talks about his love for matthew so it seems like he just doesn't anymore and matthew also is much more affectionate towards other members.. so sungseok just comes across as a coworker relationship rather than best friends no matter how long they've known each other. This isn't an insult to other pairings since i adore all zb1 pairings, but as a D1 sungseoker seeing what seems like such a beautiful and strong friendship being swept under the rug and forgotten about just bothers me and I really think it wouldn't be this way if they were just more "overtly" loud about their importance to each other.
