Especially make sure they know NOT to contact the site for a takedown - their process reportedly requires you to prove ownership by giving them your AO3 associated email. That's a PHISHING red flag - you'd be handing personal info to people who've already shown bad intentions, with no guarantee they'll actually honor the request.

AO3's legal team has handled similar scrapers before, and users have already flagged this one.

And since I found my old works there, it's quite possible this happened before the recent AO3 shutdown. I don't have info from any legal source - all I'm saying is based on our discussion on Tumblr.

Ooo love the filter idea, but that’s maybe an early days thing - a filter can only take a little before the draw chokes, and CC ’s not the type to settle for a taste. He’d want it concentrated. How about a rolling paper?

Wei was still open from earlier - slick n soft between his thighs, outer lips flushed and glistening, a slow thread of discharge clinging to CC’s knuckles as he lifted his hand. He looked at the shine for a sec, then reached for the thin strip of rolling paper.

Okay, this answered everything and then some. CC's delusion of being God makes so much more sense now - he's Satan's counterpart, so the grandeur is a twisted echo of what he actually is. The human mind couldn't hold it, so it broke into religious mania. One of the reasons religion exists - to give answers to what we can't comprehend yet.

I didn't know about cicadas' mating calls..both of them are responsible for the song. It wasn't just Wei's presence driving the priests insane, it was a mating call that CC's human brain couldn't process.

Wei's slow aging is waiting. He slowed it so he could stay in the human world long enough to wait for CC's incarnation to appear. If he aged at normal human speed, he'd die before finding him. Otherwise, I don't think slow aging was just for reducing human suspicion - he's doing a lot of paperwork, memory editing, identity management, whatnot. Memory editing is enough for mere humans.

Yeah, tagging does reveal a lot of things - almost the entire plot. But tagging everything feels like spoon feeding readers..though nowadays people do want to be spoon fed. I was very frustrated when the audience was constantly nagging about how they can't tell the difference between real life scenes and acting scenes in "Deep in." God knows what will happen if they watched Dark.

12 hrs over 4 days - I should say a minimum of 6 hrs of sleep a day is healthy. But I'm in no place to say that when I myself have a horrible sleep schedule. The longest was 3 days without sleep, or maybe just 1 or 2 hrs in between, that was yrs ago. Situations demanded it - tf, who made that exam schedule.

And thankyou for the lore..there's definitely a greater level of things to comprehend in it. It's so much darker than "incomprehensible immortal presence" - it makes the opening scene horrifying in retrospect - Father Lin hears the warning and picks up the child anyway.

So muteness isn't just the weapon, it's more like the cost he paid to reach CC. Which somehow makes it worse and more tragic at once.

Is Wei representing Satan, or someone close or adjacent to him? And if so, then what does that make CC?
And why is CC in the mortal realm such that Wei has to do all this to bring him back? Is this a reincarnation thing where gods take different forms on earth, like Xie Lian and Hua Cheng (TGCF) etc ?
