Where did "Zoi Da" originate?

"Zoi Da" originates from Zooey from Granblue Fantasy (ゾーイ, the community also will occasionally stylize her name as Zoi - completely coincidental).

She has many lines where she just says "Zooey Da!" (In her Japanese Voice Over). Really all it means is "This is Zooey, I am Zooey, It's Zooey" etc.

She says it a lot, so it's kinda just a phrase for her.

Around the time I was playing Granblue Versus (and I picked Zooey), I implemented some sound redeems, one of which was just a couple of clips of Zooey saying that. I kinda didnt expect people to be attached to it. But, well, a few years later and here I am still saying "Zoi-da"

Honestly, I'm struggling to think of a question, but I just wanted to say that I'm grateful to meet another new face that's given me one more place to relax and enjoy others' company, and another in a branching web of inspirations that help me believe I might be able to do the same for others some day.

Being so forthcoming has never and will probably continue to not come easily to me. It shakes me up far more than I imagined it would, but I think it'd be a disservice to not try anyway. So, thank you, Zoi~!

I'm grateful to hear that me finding the courage to hit "Start Stream" just so I can go online and play games and try to be something people like to watch is relaxing and enjoyable!

I hope whatever your goals are, that you fulfill them! For a long time I held back on returning to streaming, and while I did it for entirely personal reasons (i want to have fun) it makes me very happy to hear that people both enjoy it and it brings them a little inspiration. I believe in you anonymous oni fan! 🩵

What Arcade games did you enjoy playing?

For things that I enjoy Light Gun / Rail shooters quite a bit (House of the Dead, Time Crisis). I played a lot of DDR. For things that are a little harder to find: Tetote x Connect, Maimai Dx.

Have you been watching anything good or interesting relating to TV/anime/movies lately?

I rewatched the LotR movie series somewhat recently (extended versions). Started rewatching XFiles from season 1. And I started watching The Rings of Power TV Series (so far I'm kinda whatever on it).

Havent watched any anime lately.

If you have played a randomizer, what is your favorite game to play a Randomizer of?

I've certainly played the most Link to the Past & Final Fantasy IV Free Enterprise. It helps that both are very good games that I think have very good randomizers, but I'd like to try out more.

How do you stream consistently /and for long hours? I find it amazing that you could do so. Any tips for anyone aspiring to be a VTuber despite having low energy?

I really just build my weekly schedule around my set stream schedule. It helps of course I have a steady 9-5 M-F type job, so my office lady job is not something I have to consider in figuring out my schedule, so I just need to make sure I take care of my other personal obligations on my off days.

As for long hours ... I don't entirely mean to stream that long! But I do think ensuring you stream for a certain length is good (~3-4 hour min).

For those who want to stream and care about gaining an audience, I think consistency is really important, much more so than long hours! Pick a few days a week, ideally 3-4 and those are your stream days, and have a set time (or times) that you'll go live and you can dedicate 3-4 hours to it.

Amusingly enough, I chose MWFSun because I used to do FFXIV raids on Tues/Thurs (but that hasn't been the case in a while). I always try to ensure I start at the same time consistently.

any interest in astronomy zatsu series? or SRE which I would be down for but I dunno about general audiences

Hmm. Maybe?

I would need a topic ahead of time and do a little bit of research to make sure I'm speaking facts coherently.

IDK about talking about my job SRE/SysAdmin/related stuff, probably easier if it's visual/coding but i do not feel confident enough to do that, and also i dont think i have the audiance that would be able to follow whats going on.
