omegaverse absolutely won’t be too bad especially if it’s what you’re leaning towards, it’s like you asked us to pick between two treats and I generally (but not always) prefer one but at the end of the day regardless of which one you end up writing we’ll all get a treat so it’s really a gift either way (so also just thank you for writing and posting fics, i really enjoy them)
that's a relief! the people have spoken (to a degree) but i do get where people are coming from... i don't want to be seen as a one-trick pony either since my most popular fic is omegaverse. but i think even if i do write it in it won't be the total focus of the story so, we'll see! thank you very much :)

okay but as someone who did vote no because omegaverse isn’t always my preference the most important thing is that the author is happy and vibes with what they’re writing and like I have and will again happily read omegaverse especially if it fits the plot and authors vision better (and if a fic ends up having something I don’t like I’ll still always be happy for the people who got a trope they do love and never feel alienated)
Thank you, this is really reassuring! The reason I did the poll is because I know a few people who feel similarly about omegaverse—ie it’s not their preference but may read it anyway, but if a lot of people feel that way I’m happy to do without it? Since I already wrote wimym anyway. I do think it would be less centered on the trope specifically (like wimym) was so maybe it won’t be too bad? Much to think about!

i've seen people say that a/b/o without slashes is frowned upon (too close to a slur) just for the future! very excited to see more a/b/o work from the fandom 👀
