hi!!! omg thank you for asking i am so obsessed with TRC au i am dying to talk to anyone about it 🤧

i really enjoy any creature!jh + normal guy!csc dynamic so that was already what I was leaning towards but I also think the parallel between dreams & lying/schemes is rly rly interesting (so far the fic opens with the line “what’s the difference between a dream and a lie?”)

Also, this au is not a 1:1 adaptation or anything so Jeonghan is not Ronan Lynch, but Ronan is my favorite character and I find HIS whole thing with lying (ie, that he does not lie ever) as a dreamer such an interesting characterization in the books. Just got me thinking about yjh!!

Which is not to say I am reducing yjh to just lying for no reason tbc it’s just what got my brain going originally. That and the idea that seungcheol could be such a perfect earnest doggy in jeonghan’s eyes that there’s a liiiiitle bit of a “did I…dream you?” unreliable narrator aspect to it

i’m so excited about it like i haven’t been this rabid about a fic idea in a long time so i hope people give it a chance!!
