Hiii its the Mingyu x taehyung anon again and wow😲 when I’d first seen this pairing, I’d thought more of a “manic pixie dream boy” taehyung vs dogboy Mingyu bc as you said, taehyung is indeed bizarre (in a good way, he’s a creative spirit)
But the intensity x attention thing is actually diabolical, I’m officially obsessed
(Side note: really intrigued by the idea that yoongi and Mingyu are the same guy - even without thinking of the introvert vs extrovert factor, I never considered them to be similar soooo if you felt like elaborating I’m alll ears. I also am super curious to know how namjoon would drive him up the wall, I think they are similar in certain ways - their need to connect with people, their kinda less filtered way of expressing themselves, sassiness etc. )
i said this to oomf last night about yoongi & mingyu so i’ll paste it here bc i stand by it (but also it did make me rethink my “meh” assessment):
“in many ways they’re very different but there’s this like core aspect of them that’s sooo similar. they both value practical skills and curiosity, extremely open minded, aren’t afraid to dream small in a way that allows them to romanticize the ordinary!! which honestly is kind of compelling. and the yoonkooker and jigyu enthusiast in me would really get a kick out of the fact that mingyu & jungkook are so similar and so are jihoon & yoongi, in terms of having a Type”
- also yoongi does love a Large Muscular Man. I also think yoongi and mingyu really value physical touch even if we all like to act like yoongi hates it (don’t make me dig up the video of him desperately wanting to hold hands. MINGYU WOULD HOLD HIS HAND)
