hello lovely! i'm such a big fan of your love for poetry (like seriously, how do you always manage to find such beautiful pieces?!), and was wondering if you have any anthologies/sites/collections of poetry or poets that you would recommend? thank you ♡
thank you so much, anon <3 and sorry i only checked my ask box just now (as for the answer to the question there… i think i just rely a lot on memories… i’m sorry if it’s no help TT). i don’t think i’m familiar with poetry anthologies but other than that i think i can recommend a few!
collections:
- ada limĂłn (bright dead things, the carrying)
- aimee nezhukumatathil (oceanic)
- hanif abdurraqib (a fortune of your disaster)
- franny choi (soft science)
- frank o’hara (meditations in an emergency)
- mary oliver… mostly i find her poems online but she has a few collections i believe
- for more classic selections, i’d say go for selected works from: emily dickinson (i like her poetry so much), john keats, christina rosetti
