perhaps it’s not exactly a good thing to romanticize but i find it striking that they somehow find a way to talk about each other even if it’s with tweaks. i think they’re also respectively aware of how many fans of them willing to stay and interested to hear updates on their off screen rls too (hence the fansign repos). i’ve been putting off answering the remaning asks i have in my box because i wanted to see how things unfold and i have to say… it’s been quite good? maybe they’ll get spotted less off stage but whenever there’s a chance of them sharing a schedule, i think we can expect a sighting of them :] also i can’t wait for hao to gradually share hints (or more general stuff really!!!) on 🫧

hai, thank you for sharing this rant with me. i generally feel resonated with the idea that they’re drawing the short straw right now. and i think the fans are generally worried for the boys, which as a participating fan they are right to feel so, and it’s inevitable for even some fans who genuinely like both groups to set priorities higher for one of the two.

i’m sure not everyone has a malicious intent when they speak of zb1’s new peak, but i also get why it comes off as such, considering the missed opportunities they had as a nine-member group back then and maybe a narrative stirred by some who were already not fond of the previous lineup. but let’s not fret too much over the noise, for we can always throw in our own takes to balance it out :]

i think both zb1 and a2b face their own unique struggles, but, a rather hard take, i don’t think it’s comparable and i honestly dislike how people paint it as equal when the contexts are so different. mind you, one has to start from zero, from scratch, fleshing out their everything as something brand new. to be frank, as of today, i’m even more worried [sighs] but i don’t think we should let this worry hold back our excitement!!! because i’m sure a2b wants us to be as hyped and supportive for their debut :D

okay. um. i might have a different perspective here. but i guess i kind of get that many of us gravitate toward him being stylized in a softer direction, which to some may translate to something more feminine-leaning. but he has also always embodied a kind of subversion of traditional masculinity, no? at least, it has come off as such to me.

i don’t know exactly what you meant here, but i personally don’t see him being presented in a more masculine way as “downplaying” his femininity. we already know that there are instances in which he has said that he wants to be called cool and handsome equally as he wants to be called cute, too, and while that obviously doesn’t negate the more feminine aspects of him, i also find that it’s not fair if we approach his masculinity should be treated like something unfortunate or concerning whenever it becomes more visible.

i guess i just don’t really see why a more masculine presence is a cause of worry here? he cut his hair short (which is something he himself admittedly wanted to do), and this debut’s visual direction (especially the makeup) complements his sharp features really well and brings out a new, refreshing side of him we haven’t seen in a while :]

i agree with you overall :) yes there will always be a part of us who wants to see them together as a fan of both who also enjoys their onscreen chemistry, but for now i’m just managing my expectations about what we see publicly. i just hope we don’t go in a direction where most of us would constantly grieve the lack of visible interactions.

and i don’t think yh set a prison for zh (or rk gv and yj, for that matter) as much as people make it out to be and even if there turn out to be strict strict restrictions, i just don’t think that they won’t do anything at all to reach out and interact. they somehow will. also we’re only on the edge of the beginning and so much can change within the course of the coming weeks, if not months, if not years. and we can use some positivity and uplifting here!!! because i’m really starting to dislike how people have a negative outlook when it comes to a2b…

YES!!! i think one aspect i tend to focus while writing their characters is that i love going past the those arbitrary limitations. like why restrict act of service qualities to only the top? or why insist bin’s act of service tendencies negate neul’s ability and want to take care of him?

and oh my god yes oral fixation. and yes i agree so much… he’d get off so hard on blowing neul, wanting to please and be good for him… fundamentally wanting to make neul feel good. i love the idea that bin needs reassurance as much as the indulgence that comes with it. like neul might say something playfully provocative like “oh but you’re so selfish right now… wanting this all for yourself” !!!!!

but that’s also the goal, is that 🤔 i really like the idea of neul unraveling and stripping bin bare to his desires, wanting bin to be selfish so he can take care of him too all the while bin undoes him right back. also i might have capitalized on the instances where neul has shown and said that he wants bin to drop off his good boy persona and this, combined with him still providing an outlet where bin’s acts of service double as his own pleasure, makes a good catalyst in intimacy… i think
