so sunoo is gay, right? and he’s always been gay, it’s always been something people were aware of, so there would be no point in faking it. as a result, sunoo’s always had a bit of an awkward relationship with other men - of course, he’s been friends with guys, and dated guys. but for a lot of men with beliefs to unpack, sunoo being gay can make things awkward between them. even more awkward, are all of the comments that get thrown his way.

especially when some of the comments have a degree of truth to them. no, he’s not down to fuck every single guy he meets, but sue him for having eyes and recognizing that all of the guys in the group are objectively conventionally attractive men. and looks aren’t the only thing that matter to sunoo, it’s not like he’s spending all of his time ogling the other members of the group, … but he can’t complain that they’re all easy on the eyes, and he’s allowed to not HATE being surrounded by 6 hot dudes every day. like, this is by FAR not the worst situation he’s ever found himself in, and not the worst living situation he could imagine being stuck in, not by a long shot. being always surrounded by 6 very hot dudes that aren’t homophobic is far from an issue for sunoo.

the only times when “being surrounded by hot dudes with really sexy bodies” is a bit of a problem, is when those aforementioned hot dudes suddenly become aware of their hot-dude-ness. and of sunoo’s homosexuality. and then it suddenly becomes their personal mission to get a boost to their ego by making sunoo flustered.

it would usually be malicious with anyone else, in any other context, but in this case it’s not bullying. not out of mockery of sunoo’s reactions, CERTAINLY NOT a mockery of his homosexuality, but rather - what sunoo would come to realize was a sort of fascination with being the object of sunoo’s desires. a fun and educational experience for them, torture for sunoo, who has to sit there and be subjected to 6 hot dudes conducting their experiments by fully inserting themselves into his personal space bubble, leaning into his face as if to lean in for a kiss, checking him out head-to-toe and reminding him how hot he is, etc. he’s living the most Y/N life imaginable, and it’s torture, because he’s living his ultimately fantasy, yet at no point in this dream-come-true does he ever actually GET LAID.

the two worst offenders (though they were all pretty evil) were sunghoon and jake. the latter would cuddle up with him, and beg for reassurance from sunoo, that sunoo finds him hot, and in exactly what was hot about him. it never crossed into romantic territory - sunoo figured it was more for a sort of platonic-bro-bonding-honesty-and-mutual-bro-ego-boost kind of way. but does he really need to be told he’s hot EVERY day? sunghoon didn’t need words of affirmation (but he’d certainly take them if offered) since he’d rather do his own hands-on research observations. taking off his shirt in front of sunoo, cupping sunoo’s cheek, putting themselves in suggestive situations, letting his hand overstay its welcome on sunoo’s “lower back” (read: ass) after “helping” sunoo move out of the way. again, it would be mean and homophobic bullying, if it weren’t for the fact that sunghoon (and the others) took a weird pride in sunoo’s homosexuality. it was weird. for sunoo, and another member…

someone’s gotta do something, cause sunoo’s getting pent up. naturally sunghoon, the evil terrible man himself, was the one to finally redeem himself and solve sunoo’s growing problems, both long-term (by asking him out, as a boyfriend) and short-term (whatever the standard average duration of an erection is, idk). they start having sex, doing the in and out and in and out and in again routine. and if you think about it, technically if sex is just “in and out” over and over again, they’re actually constantly having sex 24/7. because all of them time spent with the dick outside the other’s ass is actually just a really extended “waiting for the next thrust inside” period. it’s like temporarily removing the dick to reinsert it, except waiting time takes two and a half days before reinsertion. is death the only way to truly end a sexual encounter, since it guarantees that the dick will never be reinserted? this is a weird train of thought for jake to be having while watching sunsun have sex.

he’s been watching them fuck since day one, and their apathetic toleration of his presence (they just sorta forgot he was there) now means that he’s got a frequent flyers status to the cuck chair in their room, with lounge access in sunoo’s private washroom for prime solo action (with a view!)

but this now raises the question: why was jake so intrigued with sunsun having sex? what was he studying, watching them fuck time after time? and why was he so obsessed with how the other members treated sunoo? he thought watching sunsun have sex would solve his questions he had about the group’s sunoo dynamic, but it actually made his confusion worse. it’s not like he had romantic feelings for sunoo, but something about the attention sunoo got appealed to jake. even seeing his best buddy sunghoon pound into sunoo was appealing. not that he wanted to date sunghoon, he just wanted both of them to pound into him while they dated each other and kissed each other and made out.

the sort of reaction he loved to provoke out of sunoo, he wanted sunoo to do the same to him. he wanted sunghoon to pull off his shirt and flex in front of jake, and to get that same satisfaction from jake’s reaction. he wanted riki to flirt with him and keel over laughing when jake couldn’t look him in the eyes. he wanted jay to treat him like he treats sunoo… actually, that might be more of a general life request for jay, rather than a specifically sexual one. but sexually, he wants jay to sit on his face. heeseung can do anything. his ass is open to receiving submissions for ideas, delivered directly.

the opportunity presents itself in the kitchen one day, when jay makes some comment about sunoo, and maybe sunghoon got annoyed or maybe jay just took sunghoon’s reaction the wrong way, but suddenly they’re bickering as they always do, and jake has the brilliant mediation strategy of informing jay that he can “just have sex with him instead! the others too!!” so easy. no jealousy needed, let out the tension, and no need to start problems. for clarification, he added that, he knows that “i may not be sunoo, but i HAVE watched him have sex with sunghoon multiple times, so that’s gotta count for some experience”

and it worked! despite all of their shocked and confused faces, jay DID start having sex with jake, and so did riki/heeseung/jungwon, maybe on occasion sunsun too. despite their surprise, they all happily followed through with jake’s suggestion, which was a relief for jake’s shot-in-the-dark, given that jay’s original comment in the kitchen was about sunoo’s cooking skills
