i actually love the discussion of rentrycord please give me your hot takes. or thoughts. or connections. i think rentrycord relies on percieved value and urls are actually worthless. Trading is more open and inclusive, the selling of urls for gauged and percieved prices based on demand is very greedy and hierarchical because the more "in-demand" urls you have, the higher you are in status. But it builds a system where the popular stay popular as long as they have money and the poor people stay poor unless they buy too.
Urls like /Angel /Doll /(Any disorder url like BPD or NPD) /lace and the like, while yes are higher in value due to being nice words, aren't actually that important to spent over 100+ dollars on, i've never spent money on a url, I don't exactly like spending money on URLS but I also believe that what people do with their money isn't my business and I shouldn't care.
People who ONLY trade urls via selling at an outrageous price are odd to me, cool, you own /Angel or some other highly valued and wanted url. Why are you selling it for $400?(not saying that the owner is. Its just my biggest example due to when the community was trying to claim /angel.) Something about it seems odd to me. Not all of us can afford to waste money on a url on a pastebin website that can easily get hacked or stolen. I think we should all not care about the value of your urls and how to price them the highest, none of the prices are reasonable and its sooo fucking weird to me like i've already said like 7 times here.
Another thing is the call-out docs, yes there have been docs that are reasonable like Frey's and Luciel's doc that sheds like on horrible things that people do, but a lot of docs/call outs that i've seen have oddly cropped screenshots & lacks important information to paint who the doc is about in a worse light than they MIGHT be. A lot of docs i've read seem like "I don't like this person, they pissed me off, heres a doc with cropped out conversations." not saying that ALL docs are like this, not saying that at all. Just something i've noticed.
