well.. there are senior groups with "unique" name yet they are very successful so.. im not sure if the name "BOYNEXTDOOR" affect their success that much. i do agree that it would be nice to have more non-love songs, but i personally still genuinely enjoy them even though im not in a romantic relationship rn and i may not relate to the experiences in the songs anymore, but i still listening to them anyway (maybe bcs im more of a melody person rather than lyrics person). it might because of the language barrier, but if you understand korean, their love songs are uniquely them like very bonekdo-coded. i dont think your expectations are weird, but i think it's all about time. i think bonekdo has strong potential as a self-produced group, especially coming from a foundation built by a successful self-producing artist. their experience will build up over time, and that is something worth looking forward to.

and who knows, maybe their upcoming full album will answer all your expectations 😉
