hey, kind sir. i... i find myself paying attention to you more often than i probably should, simply because you’re incredibly easy to admire. i mean that sincerely. i like the way you treat people and i like the way you think! there’s a certain steadiness in you that’s hard not to notice. You seem like someone who knows where your boundaries are and stands by them and i respect that more than i can put into words. you have this warmth about you, but at the same time, you feel so far away. not cold, not distant in a cruel way. just beyond reach somehow.
maybe that’s part of why i admire you so much. You feel like someone i’d love to know better, yet someone i can only appreciate quietly from where i am. i hope life is being kind to you. you’re so loved, chester. ❤︎
