hope you’re resting well and taking it slow with your new fic! i love the new concept of the “universe” being a character that already knows how in love vminkook are gonna be cos it just makes it feel sm better when they’re all gonna be pining after each other thinking they don’t love each other 😭

Hehe thank you so much!! It is helping me too because I just wanna write the fluffffff and it’s helping me do that hehe. Here’s another part of it and how it is ♡

“It’s so nice in here,” he says, opening one of the cabinet doors to see what’s inside – finding towels in colors that match the feeling of the room. “I’d want to hangout in here, and it’s just a bathroom.”

For just a brief second, Taehyung’s eyebrows furrow and smooth out, a small flicker. A foggy haze passes over his vision, there and gone so quickly he barely noticed it. All he notices is the fleeting feeling that covers him like a blanket, then slowly lifts away.

Jungkook, though, is different. Because Jungkook has always been different, he’s always seen and known things, even if he doesn’t notice it for what it is. He knows that there is something there, something here. There is an outline here, places for their bodies to go, a memory that has not yet been created, because they have yet to step into it.

Where he stands now, socked feet atop the cushioned mat in front of the sink. Here is where he will sit. We do not know when, how far away that day still is, just that the moment is waiting for them. Here is where Jungkook will sit, his back against the dark navy blue cabinet that the sink is nuzzled into. His legs will be bent in front of him, and the bathroom will be warm and humid from the running shower.

And Taehyung will stand there, in front of him, on the other side of the pane of glass. The hot water will rain down onto him from the gold shower head. Jungkook will sit there while he showers, and he will not even make any silly, flirty comments about his naked boyfriend, about showering with an audience, because it will not be a rare occurrence – Jungkook sitting in the bathroom while any of them shower, because he misses them, because he wants the company. Here is where he will sit, talking, telling a story while Taehyung showers and listens to his sweet boyfriend ramble on, providing him with sweet entertainment while he washes his hair.

He will watch Jungkook perk up at the sound of the door, all the way across the apartment. He will look at the open door to the bathroom, waiting and waiting and waiting until, finally, Jimin comes into view – home from his trip to the grocery store. Jimin will giggle, seeing that Jungkook, again, is keeping one of them company while they shower, and Jimin will join him on the bathroom floor too, where a spot on the comfy mat will always be open beside him, as if he is always hoping he will be joined there, that the three of them will be together again.

“Hi,” Jungkook will say. Taehyung will look over, the shampoo rinsed from his hair. He will smile to himself when Jimin’s hand rests on his cheek, and he pulls Jungkook in with his little finger hooked to the back of his jaw. Taehyung will watch them kiss, so softly and sweetly, while an overwhelming warmth glows in his chest, so heavy he almost feels it’ll cave in.

“Hi,” Jimin will say against Jungkook’s lips before he kisses him again, and that warmth will spread, down his arms, swirling around his elbows, trickling to each fingertip. They will kiss again, and the warmth will slide down his legs like thick honey, lingering in that spot that always tingles behind his knees. It’ll pool at his ankles when he watches them kiss again, when Jimin whispers to Jungkook that he loves him, when Jungkook says it back, when Jimin rests his head on Jungkook’s shoulder, Jungkook’s cheek against Jimin’s head, and they look at him with all of that whispered love and warmth Taehyung feels directed right at him.

“Hi, baby,” Jimin will say to him.

“Hi,” Taehyung will say, feeling breathless from the amount of love filling the bathroom, swirling around them like the steam from the shower.

“Are you almost done?” he will ask. “I want to kiss–actually, never mind.” Taehyung will watch Jimin stand, and Jungkook will whine, then the whining will abruptly stop when Jimin will pull his shirt over his head. His pants will go next, his underwear and his socks, then he will open the glass door to the shower and step right in, all within the span of seconds. It won’t take enough time for Taehyung’s head to catch up to, so he will almost sink to his knees when Jimin’s arms wrap around him.

Jimin will tip Taehyung’s head down for him so he can kiss his lips. The softness of Jimin’s lips is something Taehyung will never get used to, even as years pass. Every kiss will make his head clear for a few seconds, thinking nothing, feeling nothing but the soft pillowiness against his own.

“Hi,” Jimin will whisper against his lips this time. He will kiss him again, and he will whisper to him that he loves him. He will kiss him again, again and again until Taehyung finally has the mind to kiss him back. His arms will wrap around Jimin too, and he will whisper to him that he loves him.

That slow, honey warmth that Taehyung feels watching the two boys he loves is a little different for Jungkook. It’s not thick and sticky, but lighter, more fluttery. He will feel ticklish butterflies in the inside of his arm, the sensitive skin where his arm bends, little prickles like something light and soft tapping along his vein there. That feeling will make the top of his feet tingle, causing him to tap tap tap them against the floor like the sweet, excitable boy he is, overcome with energy and feeling that he won’t know what to do with sometimes. It’ll fizzle behind his jaw, dance along his shoulders. Where Taehyung has to fight to keep himself standing with the heaviness of the feeling, Jungkook has to fight to keep himself grounded, keep himself from floating away or getting zoomies around the apartment.

He will start squeezing his kneecaps with his tattooed hands as he watches them kiss in the warmth of the shower, arms wrapped around each other, whisper words passing from mouth to mouth. Taehyung will turn to face the water against to continue his shower, and Jimin will kiss his nap, a few notches of his spine, between his shoulder blades then back up, and Jungkook will feel the sensation against his own lips somehow, and on his back too, like those lips are kissing his spine too. He will watch them in silent awe, forgetting the story he was telling, forgetting anything but these two boys who love each other, and love him just as fiercely and kindly too.

But for now, they stand in the bathroom, just the two of them. The air is not thick with steam from the shower or the love that has yet to bloom, and the rug in front of the sink does not have the imprint of Jungkook’s body from all of the times he will keep his boyfriends company while they shower, in the times he is not with him, or they are not all three together. For now, they stand there, only Taehyung’s shower products on the shelves, only his toothbrush in the cup on the sink. It will happen, but the bathroom is too foggy in that memory that we could not see the view outside of the small window, to see whether the tree below still had snow painted onto its branches, or if singing, rejoicing birds had returned to their perches. All we know is that it will happen, and something deep, deep within Taehyung, and so close to the surface with Jungkook, knows that too.
