Hehehe hmmmm. Well it is a coffee shop au and has big hurt/comfort aspects but the angst does not come from conflict between them, and the vibe is very whimsical and magical hehe but it is not fantasy 🙂‍↔️ just the feeling of “the universe has conspired to bring us together late on this snowy night” and often has the pov of whatever it is that brought them together, just an omniscient “we” 🥹 and when they start to second guess themselves and drift away the universe intervenes to make sure they stay close. Like lots of talk of how they will soon be while they are still at their beginning. It is hard to explain so here’s a little part:

“Okay. See you soon, maybe…” he says quietly, shyly. Do you see how softly they are looking at you before they go? we want to ask him. Do you feel, yet, even for just a fleeting, brief second that soon you will be so loved, because you are so deserving of it?

Jimin, we want to say. Kind, sweet Jimin. Do you see the way they will love you, the way it is sparking to life in their eyes? Do you see the way they will love all of those parts of yourself you look at with disdain, that you think unworthy of love? Do you feel it, those gentle touches that are to come, fingers tracing skin, hands through your hair, kisses on your shoulder, kindnesses just as pure as yours whispered against your skin, sinking in and in until they finally reach your aching heart?

Jungkook, we want to say. Jungkook, you sweet, lovely boy. Do you see it? You must. You must see it, because you have always seen all. There is no one with eyes so open as yours, no one who can see the world as you do. You must see the way a word for it has not yet been found, a word for how much they will love you, the way they will love you, the way you have finally found what it is you have needed without knowing what shape the emptiness you have felt held. The way your childlike curiosity, the way your observations and thoughts and discoveries will be treated with the awe they deserve, the way your silliness, your playfulness, will be matched and will be loved, the way your softness will have an even softer place to rest.

And Taehyung”, we want to say. “Taehyung, Taehyung, Taehyung. Do you see that this home of yours that you have locked yourself in, this home that you cannot leave… do you see that you are being given another? That you are being given two? That you are being given three, the one that is made when all of you are together? That soon, you will have a home that will stay with you, that will keep you safe, when you finally, finally step outside and feel the breeze kiss your cheeks again. That after, two soft, sweet boys who will love you – who will love you, who will adore you, oh, how they will adore you – will kiss your cheeks too.

But that is all for now – from us, at least. The three of them have met, and now we can rest. Now we can simply watch their story unfold in the way it is meant to, because the rest is in their hands.
