Did you see that behind-the-scenes clip from after the F1 performance? James initially go to sit next to Martin in the small vehicle that used to transport the artists, but then a staff directed him to sit separately in the front. What do you think about the idea that the company likes to manufacture this drama—making it look like Marjames hate each other? I’ve long thought about how beneficial it is for the company to artificially create a "beef" between their two most prominent and high-profile rookies. This kind of manufactured drama really drives solo fans to rally around and defend their faves. I feel like James has stopped paying much attention to the solo fan sphere over the last six months, whereas Martin seems to actually read the tweets from his solo fans. Sometimes his comments and gestures toward James come across as pointedly protective or deliberately like "fan service"—almost as if he’s trying to make a statement to his solo fans. mmm yeah ik what clip you're talking abt. i've seen people make their own hypotheses about it but personally i can't see a good reason for hybe to start beef between solo stans. i Do think both of them are at least somewhat aware of the beef -- at the very least, martin is -- and you're right in that james dgaf while martin does. I haven't seen anything that comes across as deliberate fanservice from him because the way i understand martin is that he's a little Too scared of making james uncomfortable -- he self-imposes distance compared with the other members -- but if you have clips you'd like to propose as evidence, i would Gladly like to see 👀
