Heeheeeeeee oh man oh man oh man i've been thinking of jealous martin for a While now. i think he tries really hard to be chill about it because it clearly ruins the group dynamics, but martin is a Very Neurotic and also Very Observant so he notices these things quite well. Also because james is so fucking obvious with everything, but Especially with the way he favors and spoils seonghyeon it genuinely makes me giggle. i was actually talking about this with oomf recently and they characterized martin as someone who would genuinely fucking Die for that cookie and it made me smile really hard. because Yeah, he really would, he tries Not to be so fucking affected by james because he knows james doesn't think nearly as hard about everything as he does, and yet he can't help be affected by his mere presence. That one clip where he tries to hold back a smile while james leans closer to him on the couch. Every time he looks at him and laughs at his Quite frankly awful jokes. he gets discouraged super easily but he's a Real Yearner (who's kinda in denial), meaning that any single little thing that james does to make him feel special will have him on cloud 9. Which is really fucking funny because i think seonghyeon notices this shit, he's known martin Forever, of course he does, and seonghyeon tries to be nice in his head about it but it really Does make him feel special knowing that james clearly favors him over martin. he Does have a weird complex about it he will never ever ever admit nor will he show externally, but that's what's fun about it. This awful dynamic where both martin and seonghyeon have these Strange Feelings towards james and try their hardest not to be weird about it because of them are similarly Very emotionally mature and Very socially aware and yet. And yet.

the idea of one man (james) fucking with the cortis dynamics really fucking gets to me. Talked about jamseongz with that same oomf i mentioned above, and we both agree that seonghyeon kinda likes james in a lowkey incestuous way where he really admires and respects james yet Also wants to take care of him like a younger sibling yet Also likes feeling special and coddled by his hyung YET ALSO wants to fuck him kinda. and he feels guilty about it whenever it happens because james clearly doesn't see him the same, but he can't help it if his thoughts go astray. That one time james accidentally called seonghyeon 'hyung'.... i like to think seonghyeon thought of that for days on end afterward and jerked off guiltily to it for some time.
