it breaks my heart when i notice how much mtin adores jmes and wants to spend time together or have things in common. but jmes kinda acts like There's No Chance It Would Happen. for me it looks like he has some prejudice against mtin adt their relationship. he builds these walls and literally gaslights himself that They Are Polar Opposites (when in reality they are not this different).
and jmes still clingy to former TA member and befriend with ni-ki easily so i assume his issue only about crts members and mtin specifically. i can only hope things will get better when four members reach 20.
hmmm i see your point yeah. i agree -- only time will tell. Me personally though, i think it's this sort of toxicity to their dynamic which i really enjoy because i'm a pervert who wants them both to keep suffering. 👀
if we want to get serious and discuss their dynamic outside rpf, i think james maintains this kind of relationship because he kind of assumes martin's okay with it. which i think he is most of the time, because he knows james never means any harm and he's very understanding of his circumstances and respects him a Lot as his hyung. unfortunately, though, james is emotionally constipated, and he tends to accidentally hurt martin with his jokes sometimes as a result. i think there's a lot that's left undiscussed between them, but i do believe it'll get better with time. rpf-wise, though, this is what gets me going op, sorry to disappoint
