would your most controversial nct opinion get you exiled from your friend groups with no return?

imma be real with you anon: i don't really think about nct much anymore, and i've aired out my "controversial" opinions about the group/system/etc. in spaces plenty of times. i still got friends very much into NCT, so, no, i would not and have not been exiled.

i know this ask was prob sent as like. something lighthearted, but i gotta delve into some elder fandom wisdom: the thing about getting older is when you allow yourself to mature to sus out the people in fandom you are gonna vibe with beyond the fandom that brought you together. keep those around; those are the people who matter. i have plenty of friends who have fully grown out of kpop and we catch up about our lives, our interests, etc.

if you ever lose a "friend" over fandom opinions, just know another person worth your time will come along anyway. growing apart from people is perfectly normal, too.
