How likely do you think It is for the others to get covers cards eventually? Since they didnt announce anything this stream about next time I completely lost hope
Im so sorry I forgot I have alterspring. Id day the possibility of this being a recurring collab is very high, this one was pretty successful, based on reception of cards and 2dmvs. tsukasas bnd got mil views in 4 days isnt it crazy. kanade is right behind with 800k and, most shocking to me at least, yoidore is half a million views in just three days – very rare thing to happen with vs 2dmv. And this collab is pretty easy to do as well since theres less hassle with rights and negotiations about branding, its literally just song themed card. Extremely fitting for a vocaloid game too. Id expect them to make a round 2 with next batch of charatcers and maybe rerun of this banner next year. I think theyll skip one unit, as they did with mmj here.
If I were to guess which songs other gonna do. They take songs that are in hall of fame and they arent limiting themselves to just old classics (shadow shadow released 4 years ago), and they need to have 3dmv and alt for character. So from that

Rin - if its mmj rin she has to get vampire instead of minori, because she doesn't have any mmj 3dmv alts. If its not mmj rin it has to be niigo rin with envy baby, because rin has only 2 alts for 3dmvs unless they give something else
Len - vbs len doesnt have a vbs 3dmv cover alt. Unless they give him one in future its either going to be ln len with roki (highly probable) or niigo len with Charles (least probable)
Luka - ln luka with teo
Kaito - wxs kaito has zero wxs 3dmv alts. Either he gets one or vbs kaito saves the pups grom ifuudoudou. We can also get niigo kaito phony

Now since you watched revue, out of curiosity.. what do you think about the PJSK cast as stage girls? You don’t need to elaborate on anything too much, moreso just your thoughts about how some of them would fit into it
I think imagination is boundless and pjsk cast can easily be inserted into revue universe especially since every unit have their own passion for a certain type of art or performance. Leoneed's love for music and seeing music and a unified language that connects people could be easily retrasnalted on theater. Wxs dont even need any special additions. Mmj and vbs could easily work as "i want to be this type of stage girl" aspirations, sorta what Mahiru and Kaoruko have. Only weird ones are niigo ehwysgwueev. Like the love for their craft isnt very much of a theme for their unit (its only relevant for ena and her personal arc) so idk really if they fit. Well mafuyu can be burned out child star that lost her passion for theater. Would be cool. And shes the one who got on Stage of Fate

the discourse about untraineds is especially interesting knowing that their purpose and production process is slightly different than a trained card. (They're developed immediately after the scenario is completed in writing with the primary goal of aiding said story versus trained cards being one of the last, developed after all other essential assets (costumes, song, unique event bgm, etc) are created, influencing the work). I think with only the raw script as the guide for untraineds to me, makes it clear what the intent was in regarding a lot of them if i put myself in said position. I get the urge to zero-in on a particular character's emotions as they do something really funny, emotional or heartrending, leading to that particularly dreaded card comp. But obviously, execution is everything, and I think some artists on the team are simply Better at composition and execution of tone and mood better than others. In fact, I feel like we could wrap up 70% of card discourse with that one statement. Do I think these weaker artists should be burned at the stake? No. But I do hope clpl have systems in place to support them to grow into better artists.

I do agree that since artists rely simply on texts and not cutscenes or even recordings of voice actings it limits the possible composition variety. Part2 unit probably got outsourced for a team C (not even team B its so funny) for... not a really clear reason? I have a conspiracy theory which probably isnt true but I do feel its somehow to tiering. Some characters get way more revenue from tierers than others so to make sure the banner is profitable cards are made more appealing, cus, supposedly, shizuku chapter will always flop because she's just not a popular character at all. Does it make sense? Not really I think. But its a funny theory. Clpl self sabotaging
