anon GREAT QUESTION, English is not my first language however I am a native English speaker. I learned English and Spanish simultaneously, my mother tongue is technically Spanish but I grew up learning literature and grammar for both Spanish and English. Thank yew to my parents for sending me to bilingual school. I write directly in English, I’ve never tried to write creatively in Spanish. I probably should try tbh. And to deal with phrasing structure? I can’t answer this well ☠️I have a horrid run on sentence problem and I write with the adjective order list pulled up in a separate tab. I have an order of descriptions for my scenes, depending the type of intensity I want but I usually do a senses check. What is my character hearing, seeing, feeling, touching, or tasting.
