is english your first language? if not, how do you deal with phrasing structure and descriptions (especially the charathers feelings or sensations) while writing? do you write directly in english or in your own language and then translate?
anon GREAT QUESTION, English is not my first language however I am a native English speaker. I learned English and Spanish simultaneously, my mother tongue is technically Spanish but I grew up learning literature and grammar for both Spanish and English. Thank yew to my parents for sending me to bilingual school. I write directly in English, I’ve never tried to write creatively in Spanish. I probably should try tbh. And to deal with phrasing structure? I can’t answer this well ☠️I have a horrid run on sentence problem and I write with the adjective order list pulled up in a separate tab. I have an order of descriptions for my scenes, depending the type of intensity I want but I usually do a senses check. What is my character hearing, seeing, feeling, touching, or tasting. That’s usually what I base my scene descriptions on ngl

do you read other writers fanfiction? If yes, do you think this affects in any way your writing? If no, is there any particular reason why no?
Um, I do read other writers fanfiction but I go through writing phases where actually I don't read other people's fics because it makes me feel like it influences my voice when I am writing fanficiton. I don't know if I can explain it correctly but sometimes I flash back to how a fic made me feel or a scene that left a lasting impact and there are times that this makes me loop back on my writing, making me feel like what I am writing is not satisfactory. So, TLDR; I do love reading other writers fics and will gladly do so when recc'ed but I guess it just depends on my vibes.

ummm.... honestly my fave txt ship to write other than ynbn has to be taebin. Idk, it's just something about Soobin devouring that lil twunk ;p but I will say I've had gumz on my mind a lot these days. Want to try writing more gumz, need to like STAT actually

everytime hopeful readers give a fic a chance just to see ai prose they feel immensely disappointed
∘ ∘ ∘ ( °ヮ° ) ??? umm, are you talking about me or just in general?.... Man, I wish I could enter a gif in this thing but alas I can't. But since you decided to send this I will make it clear I do not use any form of AI in my writing. Not for editing, writing, prompting, looking up synonyms, or whatever else people use GenAI for in writing. I do not believe in generative AI, it is theft on makers time and effort.
ON THE OTHER HAND, if this is just a general statement then yes I agree. I hate the way AI is rampant in fics now. Please save fandoms from GenAI, free us from this hell. Genuinely, I don't want to read anymore ChatGPT fics like I'm tired PLEASE STOP WASTING MY TIME. It makes me sad because I used to confidently browse through tags and read whatever but now I feel like I can only read things that are recc'ed which sucks.

Hellooo, idk if you've answered this questions before, but probably. Do you have a favorite trope to write? Are there quirks that you notice that you repeat in your writing no matter the fandom? Are there ideas that you've wanted to try writing and haven't yet?
Hiii anon!!! I don't think I've answered this before but my favorite trope to write is omegaverse, honestly it's my bread and butter. I've been in fandom for almost half of my life and I never go back to something like I do with a/b/o. I think one of the writing quirks I always have sparkly separators HAHA but I think now that i've changed to Ellipsus it's easier to add the line separators.
Lastly, I think right now I am mega locked in with my fics (and they're all omegaverse wips) there's not anything that comes to the top of my head in. But I am always open to take tropes in my inbox!! I yearn for inspiration.
