Um, I do read other writers fanfiction but I go through writing phases where actually I don't read other people's fics because it makes me feel like it influences my voice when I am writing fanficiton. I don't know if I can explain it correctly but sometimes I flash back to how a fic made me feel or a scene that left a lasting impact and there are times that this makes me loop back on my writing, making me feel like what I am writing is not satisfactory. So, TLDR; I do love reading other writers fics and will gladly do so when recc'ed but I guess it just depends on my vibes.
