i use a software called scrivener!!! it is life changing for me because i have insanely long projects that require LOTS of organization, and i never write chronologically so it helps keep that organized too. it is an investment tho it costs $60, but its a one time payment which is amazing in the age of subscriptions. in my opinion it is very worth it if you're doing long projects, not sure if it would be worth it if you're doing shorter works or you always write chronologically.

i could literally talk about scrivener for DAYS i am obsessed with it. if you want to know how i use the different features (bc there are one million of them, people say there is a learning curve) plz let me know i love to yap
