okay silly question, but because u tweeted abt writing mostly out of personal experience i have to ask: have you ever burned a chair in the street? that scene just felt super tangible to me and has really stuck in my brain.
OKAY SOOO no when i was 20 i had this boyfriend who was like ten years older than me and he and his friends had an annual event where they did coke and burned a chair for fun. so i saw videos of that. and then also my house burned down once and when i made my way up there some stuff was still burning so i watched that go down for awhile and used that imagery. thank you for asking!!!
