Ahhh thank you so much!!! I think it probably feels realistic bc the inspiration for Everything in these fics is just my own life and emotions. i’ve had sooooooo much back and forth with the way I dress myself and present, its always been a real struggle for me. I’m big & tall, huge feet broad shoulders NEVER been skinny etc, so I very much held this belief that I was not pretty or dainty enough to be femme, and when I tried it was just embarrassing. and then when I was younger I was in a space where I was shoved into this very traditionally feminine, submissive, doll-like look & narrative, so I couldn’t enjoy the cute pretty things I liked without feeling like I was continuing to act out this fantasy that was forced upon me.

I’m just twisting and projecting this on jisung hahahaha, its his experience of being a queer asian man with this deep-seated resentment and shame of being viewed as submissive/feminine, while also resonating with more feminine styles, while also not feeling “worthy” of presenting more femininely or confident enough to put effort into his presentation. My friends definitely made me feel so much more confident in presenting how I want to present without all the noise, so I’m giving that to Jisung in hyunlix! LOL
