dh has three moms but none of them are really in his life ;; there's his birth mom, his dad's former mistress, and now his dad's current girlfriend. growing up watching his dad cheat over and over again and seeing how easily women came and went, dh never really learned the value of love. to him, love was something replaceable and something that could disappear just as easily as it came.
with so many different women coming in and out of his household, dh naturally grew up to become a womanizer himself :^) he loves receiving endless affection, showering girls with sweet words and affection to get what he wants, and knowing that people are constantly falling for him—all of it gives him a huge dopamine rush~ back in high school he only fooled around with girls, but once he entered university, he decided to broaden his horizons and started sleeping with males as well all in pursuit of an even wider, more varied source of affection lolol because he's both rich and extremely handsome, dh practically sees himself as a king in his own little world, with everyone around him nothing more than pawns for him to play with... @.@

one of yj's most memorable lines to dh is "if you keep acting like this, you're really going to end up dying alone." to which dh cheekily replied, "youngjae-yah, your personality isn't exactly so great either~ at this rate, we're both going to end up alone, so we might as well die together 💕" lmfaooo 🤣

compared to dh who grew up lacking parental love, yj was doted on by both of his parents. perhaps because he was so spoiled growing up, he never really understood the value of money or how hard one had to work to earn it. but after realizing just how much his parents had sacrificed to give him a good life, yj decided to give up on his dream of becoming a singer and pursue a career that would bring in a lot of money instead :^) the same yj who used to be so lazy that he slept through most of his high school classes eventually turned his life around and climbed all the way to rank #1 in his school after rebranding~ however, since he's naturally a lazy person at heart, yj ultimately decided that his life goal was to marry someone rich so he wouldn't have to work so hard anymore lolol
