i think sunoo has always known that jay treats jungwon differently but at some point in the past he also noticed that jungwon is into into jay the way he suddenly started teasing and talking about jay all the time. ever since then sunoo kind of watches their antics with a sense of superiority and enjoys thinking to himself things like "wow you guys still can't get it together?" also in my head sunoo enjoys teasing jungwon about the way he acts around jay more than he enjoys teasing jay. mostly bc he feels proud that he was able to figure out jungwon's feelings, but also as an empath sunoo can't help but feel bad for jay bc of jungwon's fear of commitment dkjfsdkj. compare this to the way jake tends to point out jay's behaviour more than he does jungwon's e.g. when jake said smth along the lines of "you only listen when jungwon tells you to do it" Fuck my yangjeng life...

when it comes to how sunoo feels about jay yeah he thinks he's nice and caring and treats him especially well when he's feeling down, but he doesn't really think of jay That way (probably bc he knows jay is for jungwon?) which is why he isn't emotionally invested when it comes to yangjeng and whatever the hell they have going on. but when yangjeng bad ending happens (years later btw) and jay starts actively pursuing sunoo and wooing him he's like "wait... i can actually see a future where we're together and work out." because jay as a kind hyung vs jay as a romantic interest are two Very different people. so sunoo gets to see a lot of unexpected and new sides to him which he ends up Really liking... and mind you these are the exact same sides that jungwon has already experienced 😍 jengsun fighting
