I think i’m considered a kpop baby because i only got into kpop in general last yr, zb1 being my first! Sungseok being my #1 ship and matthew being my bias❤️ i was just watching sungseok’s old pre-debut dance videos and like… is it a common thing that idols don’t get to dance as hard as when they’re alone or at dance class? I’m not sure how to put it, like e.g. matthew’s dance style is so so fluid and he follows through his moves in a way that also makes him look sharp too. Like your lore said, g group’s sung hanbin is seok matthew😂 But in zb1 choreos or dance challenges, matthew doesn’t… get to show it as often I guess? I just think we haven’t even seen his 100% potential yet in official content and i hope people see just how talented he is😭 sorry for ramble, i don’t have any irls to navigate this part of my personal lifeeeeeeeeeee ok thank you

i think it depends on the song and dance style! to me matthew is VERY versatile and he's rly good at learning different choreos (he once did a whole week of doing very different dance tiktoks with each jebe - he chose a style/vibe that would perfectly fit each member 🥹) but if you want to see him go as hard as when he was taking dance classes, his dance tiktoks with hanbin are always so good bc they match each other's dancing skills!!
although, i do think he does always bring his 100% on stage - he gives what the song demands: if it's cute like melting point or goosebumps he makes it reaally cute. if it's sexy like dear eclipse or lovesick game GODDAMN he really brings the sexy. he knows what vibe he needs to bring for each song and he delivers every single time ☝️☝️☝️
personally i would love to see him be in an actual dance content like mix&max and artist of the month... hopefully he gets more opportunities to showcase his strongest talent which is dancing!!
