Ifans need to boycott interacting with kpop altogether. Koreans see no reason to learn and educate themselves bc there are never serious consequences to their ignorance. ESPECIALLY when talking about big acts. SK doesn't take these controversies seriously, to them it's just iroaches acting self-important. We either need to stop supporting bigots financially or we need to make the backlash so big that they can't ignore it anymore, no third option.
I think you guys overestimate how relevant kpop is in Korea. They don’t care because they are an extremely homogeneous country whose inhabitants will likely go their entire lives without seeing a black or brown person.
The only time I really see kpop companies respecting their western fans is when their fanbase is primarily international (such as ateez)
