my favourite movie that came out this year is the ugly stepsister (https://letterboxd.com/film/the-ugly-stepsister/). but my favourite movie that i saw this year so far is swing girls (https://letterboxd.com/film/swing-girls/).
i love them to death and will hear absolutely no criticism (specifically about the former—because i understand it in a more beautiful and intelligent way, but also men keep review bombing it because they are stupid. this is not a movie for you, it's a movie for Me). they are doing things in norway that you wouldn't even believe.
