i joined skz fandom shortly after maxident promos ended so lowk if there has ever been a time where felix Wasn't obsessed with changbin and groping him all the time then i didn't see it LOL -- to my eyes they've always been well featured in their variety content and behind videos, though this hasn't always been reflected in their popularity as a ship. I will say that I think more people are opening up to seeing them as a real ship rather than just a cutesy moment though, and I think because of that their interactions see a lot more excitement and boosting from fans. I can't say I've perceived any shift or elevation in their dynamic to say for certain that they're louder, but I will say that I feel I've been talking about them more recently and i think they are sooooooo so cute and i wish i could see felix hump changbin until he cums in his pants amen
