Heeeey, sass!!! 🖤🖤🖤 Unfortunately, I can't have music on while writing, it completely ruins my focus, because my brain latches onto melodies and lyrics like a starving leech... ._. But I do like environmental sounds like rain or thunderstorms, that actually doesn't help me focus! I'm sorry, this answer is kind of boring, I'm just super peculiar about my writing set up ahaha 🖤

what is your favorite part of the process while writing? Is it getting everything ready, like setting the mood with music or a tv show? Or maybe you get a warm drink each time you sit down to write? 🫶
Ohhh hi there!!! So, my process is... I'm very set in my ways ahaha... I can't write with background noise, it's way too distracting for me, I wouldn't be able to concentrate, which is sad, because I love getting inspired by music! So instead I sometimes take a walk before writing (on days off) or listen to a dedicated playlist on my commute from the office. I either write on my computer or in my favorite corner of the sofa on my laptop.
The parts I actually enjoy most about writing itself is outlining (sorting all my random ideas into something cohesive and fill the gaps) and editing (smoothing things until they are as nice and shiny as I can get them). I'm absolutely lost without a solid outline and I admire anyone deeply who can just... go with the flow and the vibes and still have something wonderful at the end. I can't do that ahaha...
