i'm sure it'll be some time before the song campaign, but. any predictions for technicalities? if i had to guess:
no l/n 3dmv. please just give them a duet istg😭😭 (regardless though, no 3dmv. they need comm ones, not cover ones)
mmj is probably not getting a 3dmv either. they are on the lowest counts but they literally "just" got one with shake it so i'm not sure… maybe an off campaign cover? i wish they got a duet too tbh.
vbs can legitimately get whatever but i don't think they'll get a 3dmv yet since they're the only group at 19 so they're like. not leading but not behind. won't be an issue as long as l/n doesn't get one.
wxs & n25 are 100% getting cover 3dmvs i feel. against all odds, n25 is actually open if not due for one, and wxs's last one is lees recent than mmj's so i feel it'd be okay.
(wilder specs) as for which VS i could see singing in which covers:
l/n: luka, meiko or kaito tbh. miku and len already have 3 songs in the album and they feel a bit willing to try to balance that nowadays so seeing one of those three would make sense.
mmj: miku or kaito. miku simply because i feel it'd probably have to be a very miku song (i've seen some people speculate skeleton orchestra and lilia but ngl i want that one for wxs) since she surprisingly only got magical girl & chocolate in the album. kaito because he was in erase or zero which was a duet with len, so i could see him in another cover as the only vs for next album.
vbs: rin???? same situation as mmj kaito lmao (only appear in how to world domination which is a kagamines duet). could honestly see anybody else happening though.
wxs: miku. i can't believe the only song she had in the album is touhou wonderland that's. honestly impressive???
n25: literally anybody works since it was mostly balanced. maybe rin?
ultimately, all of this depends on the songs themselves though, and it's not like they completely care about balancing (mmj len and wxs kaito wouldn't be in 4 songs from their albums if that was the case… wxs kaito in touhou wonderlands barely counts though so.), and that's honestly fine tbh. i'm just doing this for fun LMAO
leoni duet makes a lot of sense, i think its the most likely thing
i dont think we got off campaign covers for anni the last 2 years? could be remembering wrong but not suuuper betting on it. maybe mmj will wait till october's stream for a 3d? if they dont get one here. maybe mmj will just have a short turnover lol
wxs i think for a 3d is a fairly safe bet. vbs is certainly getting that commi 3d they need next rotation so i'm less on them. niigo is also a decent bet because they're probably not getting a commi 3d for a bit lol so they can hold out with a cover 3d
i. have no opinions on actual vs HAHA way too reliant on the songs. i think we get the campaign hints in a few days? iirc last year did it like that two weeks before anni. maybe we can figure it out more there
