personally i'm honestly just hoping l/n gets their extremely overdue duet at this point. unless they actually decide to break mmj's 9 full group covers in a row record, which would be so…😭
otherwise, i'm guessing 3dmvs for mmj, vbs & wxs? at least wxs i'm confident about (iyaiyaiya not being 3dmv kinda proves it to me), mmj and vbs are kinda coin flips in whether they get one or not though (bc i doubt colopale will give us 3 cover 3dmvs in a month lol). all 3 of them have 16 cover 3dmvs tho, unlike l/n's 18 and n25's 17, so yeah.
i'm not sure for off-campaing covers, though, since i feel every group sans wxs and l/n are kinds possible for that lol. and there's always the chance we get none, considering how 5th anni livestream went (although i think that only happened because of kareshi no jude and pamela?). who knows tbh.
generally ny streams reveal an off campaign cover i think? so i think it'd probably happen. maybe they'll do mmj? i kindof just have a gut feeling about it, no real reason outside of vbs probably having an event next month so i doubt they'll get another song. i think they'll be aiming to get the 4th album announced at the next anniversary though... at least, i hope so anyways
similarly hoping about a leoni duet, and 100% sure on wxs 3dmv, it's been since liar dance (decent wait) and skipping iyax3 like you said is tooootally suspicious lol. i think there'll be only one other 3dmv though. i'm just skeptical they'd give us 2 rn

do u think there'll be any perm mixeds in jan? i doubt colopales game but surely they can fix some character's dueness in terms of cards and events by running some more perms
nah 😭😭 from a business standpoint, perm mixes just don't Really make as much money and there's not much of a reason to get one out imo. i also feel like they'd want to avoid having 4/6 events in 2 months being mixed lol
if you look at it, the balance is honestly... not as bad as it'd seem. there's a couple stray outliers of fucked up things that really should not have happened (for some brief examples: nene's lack of a 3* is honestly pretty ridiculous and leoni's shop cards are really badly distributed between shihosaki with a lot and ichihona with too little, and luka really needs to stop getting commissions) but the total overall counts of a majority of things in the game are actually... kindof fine right now? or pretty easy to fix with just a few bad choices being avoided
i've been looking at it, and everyone (bar miku ofc) is within a 2 range of 4*, a 2 range of lims, and these are by far the most important things in the game to balance. shop cards do seem to be a bit wonky though

(specs anon) ngl another thing throwing me off is vbs rin specifically. she needs both a uscorer and a vbs commission badly but touya6 is probably happening in january😭 and i don't really see rin appearing in any other group for a comm rn (miku & len are both coinflips for mmj and wxs imo, kaito is very likely in l/n, and meiko just seems ideal for n25 considering how much n25 meiko needs a 4* and is open for a comm for them)
maybe she's event shop in touya6 and then 4g in vd? but then that'd force touya6 to be 3 ocs which brings me another issue: an (due for a 3* but also has been constantly behind in 4*)
ugh this is so confusing😭 watch them do a valentine's day vbs hakolim or something stupid to throw everyone off guard
that'd be the funniest ragebait ever and if that happened then we've officially 100% lost the plot entirely. skipping valentine's for an unnecessary vbs hakolim 😭😭 but at least SURELY this time it'd be the akty lims that they've skipped for god knows what purpose 🙃🙃

(checks) ah.. over rad squad. yeah. i can see now. it's not the worst but she's definitely in need of one soon, considering we've got about half the cast getting ahead of her now too. can an just please get some new light spam, give her an extra event or two or something lol.
yeah i think that vs distribution makes enough sense, everything seems logical enough.. luka just straight up has to go atp. like it is not feasible to keep her around anymore with how bad rin and now kaito have been kicked down, but now i'm worried about her 4* because it seems like she'll be struggling like an but like. even worse. i wonder if they'd do what they did for kaito/miku in colors of pure sense again? but it borderline feels like that seems targetted to lim events nowadays (the last time they did that was what, kitty? where len booted out luka) and like. we really shouldn't be seeing a hakolim until golden week lol

(specs anon) hi again! anyways, i've been thinking my predictions for next event and…
haruka6 has two possibilities imo:
3oc: 4* haruka, minori & airi; 3* shizuku & 2* miku/len
2oc1vs: 4* haruka, airi & miku/rin; 3* shizuku & 2* minori
new year's would be:
bfes 4*: shiho/tsukasa & len
event 4*: emu (banner), shizuku & rui; 3* kanade; 2* honami
i was torn between minori & shizuku for ny's but i feel shizuku is due for a 3* so it's kinda whatever? i think.
i think an is probably happening alongside whichever one between tsukasa and shiho isn't bfes for valentines (i'm feeling tsukasa for vd tho). i'm not sure if vbs rin or wxs meiko though… because rin can't appear in wd. so they have to either drag her for 5.5th anni, or do rin vd & meiko wd. but rin already has a vd 3* and wxs meiko has a 2* for wd (my issue being less meiko having a 2*, but wxs meiko specifically having a wd card already instead)

i'm kindof struggling to think about anything notable for the haruka banner, but i think i agree with the assessment there. i think i'm starting to lean 3OC atp? i don't really entirely see where else to give minoai 4* for a bit, especially airi. len works, i think if miku's on an event it's for a new 4*
i'm definitely far more leaning on shizuku NY bc she does want a shop slightly more than minori (minori has 13, shizuku has 12) and i really think she's a fantastic candidate for a lim in which case shizuku really wants a lim, moreso than minori (albeit minori's not a BAD choice for a lim) 'cause shizuku hasn't had a lim since vd this year while minori just got bfes a few months ago (although she did have that egregious gap beforehand...). minori could also probably get a vd/wd 4* (i feel like she really fits vd in particular but the lineup there is really hard to make her fit...)
shiho vday just kindof feels odd to me and i can't explain it. like i suppose it works but it's not something i feel myself gunning to think about. an feels much more reasonable though, especially with vbs rin... i do think she'll finally happen soon (toya6? vday? both??????????) because niigo luka being freed from jail really makes me feel good about it
i concur with the same issue as i've been stumped on wxs meiko too bc yeah. i think doing b2b same subunit on same holiday feels so ??? questionable to me. i've been trying to think of solutions to avoid that that doesn't involve skipping a month, and i've been considering they do something like replace ny rui with wxs meiko (i know it's another meiko lim on ny but i feel like they could get away w/ it bc diff subunit and we're late enough in the ny card stuff) and then comfortably do vbs rin vday? it'd also help tidy up the growing number of wondasho 4* a bit because rui's event is... probably in january...?
so to recap, for ny:
bfes 4*: shiho/tsukasa and len (shiho if wxs meiko)
event 4*: emu (banner), shizuku & rui/wxs meiko 4; 3* kanade, 2* honami

kohane instead of touya surprised me a bit. but i guess it makes a bit of sense? touya has a lot of chances to get cards on january, and kohane is very likely to start getting event shop spammed considering how low she is for 2* cards lol (touya6 be akitouya please)
ichika instead of honami also kinda makes sense (honami is probably ny's and i thought both were interchangeable for both events). it's emu that's throwing me off though. she wasn't particularly due for an event shop card (now has the same amount as luka and shiho iirc); nene made more sense imo but since it's a miyajo event i understand why it's her lol
also this event probably means mafukoha hbd lines which means kohane will probably be the 3rd oc to have hbd lines from everyone else (airi being 1st and emu being 2nd)
anyways my guess for this event is emu 3* and ichika 2*? since ichika has less 2* cards than emu lol

yeah, it makes sense because of that. it was a little surprising but. she's not really a fantastic candidate for much else coming up. (i'd want akitoya too because it's really embarrassing how long they've dodged each other's gachas but i'm worried about the ominous forever behind on 4* anchan.. please just be in valentine's or wd or something)
honami is definitely ny's yeah. i think with kanade almost certainly being there too it's like. sure man whatever. another five billion honakana lineups lol. i think emu is probably here for story purpose because they like. kinda like mafuemu? obviously not as much as other cross unit pairs but it is something they like to touch on every once in awhile. and it clearly sets her up because like invitation and stuff.. and miyajo school event...
oh!! didn't even realize. that's pretty nice actually, really glad we're starting to get closer with that one

hii! airi anon here, what are your thoughts on ny+bfes given the added emu voice line confirming she’ll get a 4* in the lineup (right?). i also have been hearing about a pattern that suggests an oc bfes can only appear if another member of their unit is on banner. if this is the case, do you still see shiho bfes possible? i’m thinking it would either have to be tsukasa bfes + ?? maybe shiho still (disregard the rule in favour of balance) or shiho + virtual singer as it seems the rule didn’t apply when it was oc + vs? just interested to hear your thoughts, i don’t have many of my own right now

yeah, that's correct regarding emu. she's pretty much guaranteed atp. i'd say that theory also is more loose than that. kanade and ena obviously had nothing to do with a vbs hakolim and wxs hakolim respectively, but meiko and kaito are the initial units vs those groups had...
in which case, shiho + len wouldn't really fulfill it, but stick a wxs member on there and it works, but it doesn't really explain who the third on the gacha is (because i doubt there's all 3 of emu, tsukasa, and rui)
emu + shizuku are basically locks for NY atp. shizuku is really in need of a new lim, is a viable candidate for 4*, due a shop card (so a good candidate for shop in haruka's event), and is a viable candidate for NY. if she somehow isn't on this gacha i'll eat my shoe
i'd say len on NY is fairly likely as bfes. he does need a new scoring card, he has no obvious choices for a lim as he's finished his full unit rotation on uscorers.
i suppose i believe there are two key lineup possibilities
emu, shizuku, rui + (len, shiho BFES)
OR
emu, shizuku, wxs meiko + (some combo of len/tsukasa (or both), and shiho BFES)

They went for the exact same lineup as saki6 so how does this effect you future specs? I really did not expect this lineup at all especially since both Ichika and Honami needed reward cards

TBH i don't think my personal predictions changed too much. i've been thinking emu NY for awhile now, so this just kinda solidifies it and kills ichika at the same time. shiho's locked in for BFes, and luka really needs a new 4* (presumably on perm mix, don't think she's getting a mmj commi). you're right about them repeating the saki6 lineup, extremely funny and dumb decision. it feels like we've been having a lot of excessively repetitive lineups lately... wonder if the game's just showing it's age or there's some other factor in play. or both
yeah it's a bummer bc the shihosaki-ichihona shop gap is like. really disgustingly imbalanced LOL. i do think ichihona will probably receive reward cards in the next two mixed events. honami on the (presumably mafuyu) perm mix, and ichika still is a good candidate for a NY shop card

i'm a bit mad ngl i really wanted ichika ny's but the set is pretty (if it was another headshot composition set i was probably going to tweak lol) so i'm kinda whatever about it now.
i'm guessing that n25 luka is 100% in that mixed event and kaito is very likely in haruka6 now. as for ny's… emu, shizuku & rui with shiho & len bfes? idk😭

TBH i think saki hakolim was inherently going to be an atrocious lineup. well. i guess we got it... rip ichika ny copers, honachan shop prayers, and Luka Commission....
this set is honestly gorgeous. one of the best sets we've ever gotten tbh. reminds me of the honami witch card but as a full leoni hakolim. IMO saki's been kindof on a killer unit set streak tbh

i've been an emu NY banner believer for literal months now so uh. A little vindicating seeing that she's such a blatantly obvious choice now HAHA.
my current belief is
emu + shizuku + rui
len bfes + shiho...
i just don't think there's many candidates. minori would be viable for a hard lim but i don't see them choosing her over rui when it's emu focused, we've yet to have a banner where there is more of a different unit than the focus on it when there's multiple of the same

hiii maple. Unfortunately this event is a weird one. It’s a weekend event (normal) but it’s the first time we’ve had an event run on Sunday in quite a bit. If it follows the trends of the Saturday events, it will leak 30 minutes after the event announcement. But clpl are still working on Fridays so they still had time to delay it…
Assuming they aren’t working this weekend (normal), then it honestly should uh. Be here within ~12 hours…??
So, earliest case scenario would be ~5hr30mins from now, though. Prepare yourself for pretty much any time after that. I don’t know when, could be today could be tomorrow. I’ll be able to give better answers in the future once this event actually leaks LMFAO
