so. they really did go "fuck you wl3 part 2" when making the untraineds didn't they. lol.
anyways the set is fine. self-insert cards in general don't appeal to me but i do like the different foods and the color cameos from each character's groupmates in the background.
alts also check out… mizuki and touya were obvious considering counts.
as for attributes… most of them are okay but ngl i feel rui and mizuki should've exchanged attributes because. rui cute??? really??? 3/3 of his wl cards being cute bye💀
it's crazy because even the solo shots (kaito, rui, toya) are all wayyyy more dynamic lmao. the weakest untrained is kaito and this one's mostly just held back because the setting is literally forced to be boring 😭😭
part 2 really is just, The Weak Link in all aspects, huh...
i think it's a cute set. it's generally not my taste just like you but they're cute enough. saki's smile could kill millions... she deserves the world.
mizuki and toya alts are good! niigo really needed that after all 3 of kanamizumafu got fuckall last event lmao. vbs as a whole unit also all sitting at the bottom is kindof, umm. yeah. both solid picks. wish they'd just give us the inevitable kaito alt for the toya commi too though, like he's literally in the lineup as well c'mon.
okay so i'm ngl i've not realized this until now but i believe each character is having different attris from the rest of their unit ... like, ichika pure, shiho myst, honami cute, saki cool... seems to be correct for the other units as well, to make finale teams?
that should make wl3 part 5 easier to spec. maybe!

yeah. like… at most i could see smth like. ichika7 luka PU with rin event shop and comm if they REALLY want to push it, since saki can still wait for event shop a bit longer, but like. rin is 100% getting the comm ideally (also yeah! ichika would then have at least one comm for all vs if she gets rin). there's zero incentive to do luka, especially since they're still avoiding doing 6th commissions in groups for vocaloids that aren't miku. and well, l/n luka has gotten two commissions this sekai year and already has 5, while l/n rin only has 3, so like. lol.
regarding part 4's attributes… mizuki actually already has two pure scorers (kanade2 and anmix3/5th anni i think?), but you're right that it's also another decent choice for her haha. like. i'm just assuming anybody at 8 or 9 scorers is likely to 3peat scorers without much issues. so like… everyone who isn't rui basically lol. and the vs ig but ngl speccing skills for them is honestly just eyebrow raising because they're die for so much shit. see: miku having only 3 plockers and her last one being ichika3. like what.
also your opinion on the event synopsis? it seems they decided to make the npcs have fights as a conflict from what i understood??? surprising tbh. i do think they're going to make it call back to all members' backstories though, considering it's kind of ambiguous. the card previews are okay, but ngl this specific group getting the self-insert looking cards is a bit eye-rolling lol. here's hoping the untraineds are decent, at least.
it's kinda funny to me that seemingly rin in ichika7 would make it so that she has commis for the rest of the unit except saki. you know, the Designated Similar Personality and also the character's event she debuts in... if only saki and an weren't in a competition on who could have the worst distribution of vs in their commis...
oh woops. good shout LOL. ah well... yeah, i'm in agreement that 8-9 are much more Likely to get 3peat scorers at least. rui's attri distribution is just super jank in general, the MASTER of cool 4* with scorers lmao. so some cleaning up is really needed
miku is just weird in general tbh. the curses of being a vs and being gimmicky. uscorers, two fes cards, guaranteed scorers off of wl... it's a lot, LOL. though yeah she really needs a new one soonish.
ummm... well, i think it's fine. the thing is i think it'll be like, a way to have a plot to have the characters remind the npcs to make them understand how meaningful the bonds they've developed are. that they could lose this if they're not careful. with some parts (toya's?) focusing a smidge more on relating specifically to conflict lol

remember when i said i wouldn't bother with attribute predictions for wl3. yeah i lied. well, kind of
my first beginning point for specs was rui since he kinda has the lowest scorer count out of all OCs at 7 i think? so him 3peating an attribute just doesn't sound ideal rn imo. with that in mind i think he kinda has to be either cute, happy or pure. considering he has a pure 6peat and cute would make all his 3 wl cards be cute i think him being happy is kinda??? the best choice.
then there's kaito, who i feel could be mysterious again? subgroup-less kaito has the advantage of having 4* of all attributes thankfully, but i noticed kaito as a whole has no mysterious scorers. considering it's also a 5peat well. i feel it works well tbh? cute could also work if they don't mind that. pure too, but considering og kaito's pure card was a scorer too i don't feel it tbh?
i think mizuki could also be mysterious (5peat and no 2nd mysterious scorer) but all things considered she already has 9 scorers and we know 3peats aren't like. an actual issue so. yeah.
i have some "ideal" choices for the others (saki cool to give her a 2nd scorer one, touya pure for the same reason, although both cause 7peats but ngl i feel that's probably not an issue)
my tldr is this:
kaito (cute/mysterious), saki (cool), touya (pure), rui (happy), kaito (cute/mysterious)
truthfully though, the only one i feel remotely "confident" about is rui (simply because 3peating a scorer with such a low scorer count would be dumb; and even then i'm not confident about the attribute itself. just like. it probably not being cool or mysterious because of it lol)
myst kaito, happy rui, cute toya, cool saki (interchangeable), pure mizuki .... that's my guess. i'm admittedly again pretty bad at speccing when it comes to wl3 attributes but
-agree on kaito and rui both on all explained basis
-pure mizuki both avoid 3rd scorer and 6peats
-toya and saki are kinda the leftovers. whoever gets myst is a 6peat. i think accepting 3rd scorer here is the least here tbh
...so i guess it's pretty similar to yous in the end, haha?

the only thing i really feel confident about now is l/n rin commission. like. this is basically the perfect set up now isn't it? i can't imagine why they did meiko for ena7 otherwise, like. surely they'll finally do it now??? unless someone at clpl has either. a raging hate boner for rin or a genuine infatuation for luka atp

so the b2b event thing was an extreme anomaly--i generally wouldn't bet on this happening very often in the future. it's actually the first (and so far only) time it's happened!
as for when vbs will get an event--theoretically the earliest is the first perm of next month, at about august 10thish. we'll know if this is the case during the next livestream, which will presumably be about the 28th-29th of this month. this relies on leo/need having a limited event though, and they're not particularly great candidates for that... so...
what i would consider the MOST LIKELY situation, is that they have an event in september. similarly the first perm slot! so about the 10th of september... roughly meaning you have ~2 months until the next event.
of course, if this happens to be incorrect--vbs like, would be 99% happening in october at some point. lol.

living millennium sounds interesting potential for one too. like the whole them as paintings the thumbnail has. although i'm kinda bewildered at the lack of 4th album songs atp? like. it's only cat loving and the compass songs which ???
looking at overall 2dmv counts… l/n is probably next? every group but them and n25 are at 44 (l/n is at 43, and n25's greedy ass is at 46; or 47 if you count kanade's hated by life itself alt as separate💀).
(also soar should technically have vbs at 45 but since that one has production issues and hasn't released yet, so they're still at 44)
so… l/n cover 2dmv eventually? hopefully. unless they do a the wall 2dmv which ??? ig

also 2dmv. it was obvious but the fear was still there. nice to get confirmation though. everything else also kinda checks out i think.
alt choices are a bit funny though. ena is fair enough, and rin did need one, but. surely either kanade or mafuyu would've benefited here? mizuki too but she has wl3 part 4 so.
also all VS have more alts than all of VBS now. that's actually funny what the fuck💀
also. liked the hanataba cover!!! i was afraid of it being bad but the key change actually helped the cover a lot. even meiko sounded decent-ish imo (probably because they didn't maker her sound unnecessarily high pitched like in kuu ni naru lol)
as for the set itself… liked all the untraineds but man. what's up with non-focus/lower rarity characters getting better traineds recently??? (imo) the set is still good imo but kanade and meiko did eat ena and mafuyu up lol😭

I’ve heard of this rumor (it was running in mid June), which stated that a missing WxS commi and Niigo commi would be there too. Heard nothing about order. We all predicted Niigo so no shock, but I guess WxS would be All in One…? I don’t know.
Unfortunately I haven’t been able to find much about this. I’m not sure I’m looking up the right keywords or digging in the correct places though—and I’m not really affiliated with any public places anymore.
So Like. I have heard of it! I just do not know if it’s true whatsoever. If it is then yeah we might have a LN Hakolim???

yeah. it's only a few people admittedly, and rather than different units, it's more of a "ichisaki bfes since ichika got a mixed colorfes originally!" which. idk but ehhh. genuinely doubt that. sometimes exceptions are just exceptions yk?
i think it'll depend on whether ichika is PU on early august's lim event or not. if she is, then her chances for bfes do decrease a bit because yk. lim counts. if she isn't, though… i feel she's a lock. either, way her 4* count does need to stabilize. why did they give touya bfes here. seriously😭 benefits absolutely 0 people since touya now has 2 onegapped hairstyle lims (money. the answer is always money)
yeah, honestly kanade pu would be more of a "it would soft confirm a mixed event. ideally" thing. like i said, her event shop count does beg for a card more than a 4*, but only a mixed event would solve it. ena7 kanade pu is more-> ichika7 lim would only solve the comm issues.
atp i'm wondering if they may straight up give meiko 3 cards in 5 events. ena7 -> mixlim -> wl3 part 5. obviously not, but it would be funny (horrible) if they did this with meiko out of all characters.
