also just saw your thread and… did the "time matters more than count" people strike again😭 yeah ena is going to be due for a 3* eventually but like. her event shop count is actually pretty much fine, and she doesn't have the lowest 3* count anyways. she can get a 3* later down the line i think (kanade, on the other hand, absolutely needed this)
as for the wedding lineup being a repeat of a lot of characters… i'd get it if a 4* was here repeating (i was scared of touya) but like. PU are all either previously event shop characters and kaito who is actually new. i kinda get wanting more unique lineups (this is the 3rd lineup with mizuai as PU) but ngl that's more on sekai and their wl obsession… hopefully we get more normal mixed events next year, especially since it'd make a lot of sense with what wl3 literally did, right? idk i think wl has to go. the worlds are already linking (and i'm assuming that's 100% what finale will do because well. what else can they do genuinely)
like idk. these choices are all around balance. it kinda feels that people are arguing about things that literally are impossible to balance in practice, at least from my pov😭 there are 26 characters in the game (and 6 of those are vocaloids), you can only do so many lineups before repetition becomes imminent lol.
kinda reminds me of people that say sekai should balance "limited focuses". like… i get it but also like. do you understand that sounds like a balancing nightmare.
like i do have my pjsk balance issues. a lot. but i feel people complain about things that are so absurd (again, the limited focuses thing). in those i feel like balancing the lims AND the amounts of banners separately are like, good enough? honestly the whole idea of a character "needing a hakolim" is funny as fuck to me, too. like, again, i kind of get it, you want your fav to get something special, but tbh i just care about whether said characters got a lim or not like😭 idk ichika may "lack" a hakolim focus but also like. she's PU in 4 out of 5 l/n hakolims, i think it's okay if she doesn't get one lol. same with nene (who i'm pretty sure has been pu in every wxs hakolim too despite none being her focus)
all of that without mentioning the fact that sekai has literally mentioned they don't balance it. ik not everyone knows japanese though, and that that one post is not recent anymore but like😭 as insane as some of their decisions recently have been they actually tend to be relatively consistent about them.
like idk pjsk balance 100% has its issues but i feel it's much better than other gacha games from the rhythm genre… bandori and d4dj have such horrible balance it actually pisses me off LMAOO. not sure about enstars though.

yeaaah though i think for some people this one is honestly a little more of a ship or even just. lineup thing than just a time thing... because i've seen more complaints about stuff like it not being picnic than actually a valid argument against kanade 😭😭

see i did consider toya for a moment but i was like "wait what would even be the point of pushing koha7 up then? and kaito was having the same issues as toya we were concerned about..." haha.
i do get the gripes about repeating wedding chars that because it is a little unfortunate ... but unfortunately that's also just the way the wind blows. the only oc who was a decently viable candidate who could actually be a 4* on wedding was ichika. and she's just . you know. kinda obviously bloomfes now LOL. and none of the characters on the bottom of the shop list are new to wedding... 2 of which (tenmas) are at the literal top of the list too. sucks.
also yeah i think the bigger concern is repetitive PU LMFAOOO. which people weirdly seem to never complain much about usually? somehow even the people who liked the shitty valentine's event this year didn't seem to acknowledge it's literally a flat repeat of wd1. focus and everything. somehow the only repetitive pu complaints i see are vbs because they refuse to just do a normal aibou gacha LMAO.
yeaaah idk. i do think people get up in the weeds about a lot of niche subjects. i think having a lim event for everyone is a good goal to shoot for but also there's only 12 months in a year and at least 2 of these (ny/anni) arent gonna be hakolims lmao. and you just can't schedule it all to be perfect. i think some people should move to a "they'll get to it... eventually..." mindset for cases like these.
also smh nene wasn't on ddfl so she's only been on 3/4 wxs lim banners TCH... joke. i'd like a nene hakolim event eventually, she's my favorite, but if it doesn't happen for awhile... well, tough luck for me lol. similar thinking to you and ichika
ive heard horror stories from all 3 of those lmfao. prsk is soooo tame in comparison... but. tbf enstars also has like 50 characters and has continued to expand so balancing good is already a literally impossible task. bandori had the right idea when they realized to literally split off into a second game lmao
