kharon and voyager have a funny feeling relationship because while theyre depicted as a trio with x, there’s less of a “tug” between kharon and the other two because of /well besides the fact that the other two in question live together) kharon isolating themself a lot and trying to escape things that bothers them too much or makes them feel too anxious/About to think about this thing so hard . Voyager included . (hence Kharon doesn’t know whether Voyager considers them a friend or not. they feel bad about this but perceives it as necessary to protect themself and in turn, her as well without having to do so much)

and to note that also they have met each other as ~teenagers , but voyager can barely remember such a thing due to her amnesia / But kharon very well remembers the interactions they have in their life. Like seeing someone change so drastically to an unnerving level but you can’t do anything about it , also because then it’s going to disclose other (unnamed) qualms kharon has about voyager, like the “i cannot shake off the feeling that she knows precisely what i did” in another inquiry i answered - whereas Voyager is generally, perhaps not that oblivious as she seems, but it never really consumes her mind as much as it does for Kharon. And never questions it really. She’s in her own throes of an existential crisis, yet still noticed how Kharon shies away from any further interaction compared to other people.

Kharon has kept so much secrets from her too they’re practically on the verge of just throwing it all up ;, but they’re good at that sort of thing, aren’t they?

Voyager feels like she can never really approach Kharon properly because Kharon then mysteriously can never be found every time it occurs to her. And what she does in response is, again, not question it, believing it’s not her business despite the fact that she is the. business. She is concerned for sure but she doesn’t feel like it’s her place to pry into it. so much tension It will suffocate the both of them until they can no longer handle it. It’s like I’m seeing a different person compared to the real you…

In another way, I can sum it up like when you become friends with someone and they invite another friend over, then your friend leaves the room for a hot minute leaving both you and your other friend (complicated relationship friend) alone in an incredibly awkward situation. It becomes very odd all around.
