it's so fun to compare those kinds of things, right? everyone really does have such different tastes. my favorite things to read in fics, wow, it's actually a hard question. one the one hand, i love when really tropey tropes are handled seriously, like i love a good fake dating, a good there was only one bed, a good enemies to lovers, but on the other hand, i also crave rich dialogue, dynamic relationships (especially when there are other characters who play a big role beyond the ship), worldbuilding, a good intimacy scene, argh idk, there are a lot of things i like! historical aus, fantasy aus, friends to lovers, idolverse, i think i am not picky i am just listing everything now
