among the sb fics you’ve written, which scene made you feel the most love while writing it? there are so many scenes in your fics that make me feel so in love while reading them, and it makes me wonder—while you were writing them, did you ever feel that same overwhelming love or emotion that your characters were feeling in that moment? feel free to mention as many as you like~ im really curious ♡
if i were to pick a fave as a reader, i think it would be the windowsill kiss in cicadas 🥺 the way it was built up, the rain in the background, a hand on seungkwan’s thigh, and “you look like someone i’ve loved for a long time”. seriously, that line is etched in my mind. it’s sooooo good 😭 and you’re so good at writing scenes and bringing them to life so vividly. I can see the characters, their expressions, and everything happening around them so clearly that it feels like I’m right there with them.
another one is the mountaintop kiss in cicadas as well 🥺 the heated exchange, and then the rain coming down so hard. it was perfect. The way all that tension, hurt, longing, and love finally surfaced in that moment felt so powerful.
i’m trying to recall a particular scene in yoonseul but it’s kinda difficult because the whole thing makes me feel in love just by thinking about it 🥹💗
hi hi omg! this is such a really lovely question, and one that's hard to answer! i think there tends to be a lot of love in everything i write, whether it's romantic love or platonic love. you gave a lot of really good examples, especially the windowsill kiss comes to mind, but i think a few others stand out for me
1) when seungkwan falls asleep in t3 and wakes up with his head in hansol's lap because hansol didn't want to wake him up
2) the breakup scene in cicadas
3) the scene in the camellia garden in want of apricity
i wouldn't say i necessary feel the exact emotion or love that are described in these scenes. the emotions i try to describe are a mosaic of different things i've felt, or emotions i've siphoned off from the people around me, mostly through empathy, but also through their own stories. part of building a character for me always involves pieces of myself (hence my username, jogak), but in the end, though fictional, they become their own people, and a lot of the time, those characters feel and navigate the world differently than i do. writing is a confluence of inspirations for me, and i work hard to make the result of those things coming together into something tangible, realistic, and palpable.

would love to hear your thoughts about seungseung!! they're so lovely
i adore seungseung! i think they are two core pillars of svt and the reason why the group's dynamic is the way it is. they have really obvious contrasts, like hyungline/maknaeline, but i actually think they have quite a bit in common, and those commonalities are actually a cause of what makes for very fun friction. they are both extremely sensitive and they both have quick tempers, so i think they're a little snappy with each other and love to tease. at the same time, they're both pretty anxious and very sensitive toward what other people think and feel, which is why they're so important for the group dynamics, whether it's leadership or moodmaking. they're also both youngest siblings who ended up being footed with a lot of responsibility in their day to day lives, and i think that shaped the kind of adults they matured into. overall i think they're a super lovely pairing with a lot to explore emotionally, but also yum hot size difference 2 brats. also sorry it took me so long to answer this!

how are we feeling about seungkwan’s ig story message for vernon? oh my gosh. that was pretty much a love letter. 🫠 ngl, i teared up a little. he loves him LOUD. he was probably overwhelmed with emotions he really had to let it out 🥺 oh my kwannie you’re so full of love. solboo’s friendship is so precious. They love each other so much. 😿

hi friend!! what are your thoughts on ateez new album? i love them incorporating latin themes!! i especially love the way wooyoungs voice sounds on this album i genuinely feel like this is my favorite display of his vocals!!! i LOVE toxin!! i feel like right now currently i feel so grateful for music released by our favs at the same time (ateez and v8)!! SUMMER ALBUMS SO FUNNNNNNN
hi friend!!! i really love the album!! i think bad and mamacita are my favorites but that's probably because i love an upbeat teez song and i'm really enjoying the summer energy the most, but i agree getting to see wooyoung's vocals shine just makes me elated, especially bc he's grown so much as a vocalist and keeps proving how talented he is

x.com/joshoong/status/2073188132627890543 GOD yeah you're so right!!!!! this and a healthy dose of bsk who is a naturally extremely gifted singer who has that inherent ability to express himself via music vs hvc really learning and cultivating those abilities over time...the classic question of talent vs training and how they overlap and how they sometimes really diverge. the fact that it's not talent or training that really decides who becomes a wildly successful pop idol but rather luck and coincidence.......however you spin it, kpop and music in general are so central to BOTH of their identities in such a compelling way!!!! one that is so ripe for this sort of premise! idolnon fanboy-sk but seungkwan is the one that has perfect pitch and who brings you to tears with a karaoke ballad on a random tuesday night and mayyybe has an ego about all of that vs hansol being both naturally creative and exceptionally dedicated to his craft and how those traits help him to slowly find himself as an artist...they things they could teach each other....wah
omg you totally get it, i think their dynamic has soooo many different components worth exploring in every universe but when you start to dig into some of these core pillars that make them who they are in the versions we know (i.e. fame, music, talent, sociability) it gets really, really fascinating.

hi!!! i saw your tweets abt an idol hansol/fanboy seungkwan au and i would LOVE to hear more or read it if you do end up writing it!!! i just wanted to say i trust you with solboo so much, i really feel like you respect them as people and it comes through in your writing… i think sometimes it can be easy to make seungkwan a little too silly if that makes sense but you really manage to ground him (and hansol!) in a way that makes them feel real but still like themselves (or the idea of them that we get ykwim). thank you again for all your fics, you’ve written some of my very favorites 🫶🏻
