Can we do anything to raise the Izve's enrichment levels?
izve how do i post good cool art like you do
When was the last time I posted cool art, buster? Ask yourself that.
Just pick up a pencil and learn to draw, doofus. Just illustrate them, you clown.
With more sincerity, seriously, you gotta start to draw. If your main goal to draw is to create the ideas in your head with the quality of me or artists far superior to me, the most important tool in your arsenal is going to be a lot of patience and kindness for yourself.
I think everyone learns in different ways so I don't have any specific tips or advice, but I can tell you what helped me was first developing a healthy relationship with fighting games and then applying that to drawing. When you draw stuff, the end result is going to be 'Defeat' on the record. But if you had fun doing it and you were able to focus on some elements you wanted to learn and improve at, it's a win in your heart and that carries you to the next session. You work on your basics, your consistency, etc, and eventually you get to the point where you go "well I loss but I did a sick read and super punished intentionally" or "it was really fraudulent but I did win at least round in the set", and eventually that leads to 'Victory'.
And then you look back on your W and go "this could have been more optimal, how did I get hit by this, oh my god I'm so bad".
:)
What is your favorite type of mecha anime and game?
Asking for further clarification cause I'm very indifferent about a lot of categorization. I like Mecha anime cause I like the Mecha. I'm blessed that the genre is given a wide variety of stories, from things like Giant Gorg to GaoGaiGar, from Gunbuster to Gasaraki.
Games are also very similar cause I'm not sure what I would say is intrinsic to something being a "mecha" game besides it having mecha. I would say here I have a more clear distinction in that I prefer games where mechs do cool anime shit over games where you fine tune your mech into your perfect machine. This is mostly because I am both very indifferent and very particular.
Like, if I want to build my own personal mecha that's for my usage, it has to do what I need it to do and in turn it will almost never ever aesthetically please me. In that extent it is like a tool, and maybe I put a neat sticker on it I don't see while I'm piloting it. So without it meeting my very specific visual tastes, investing time into comparing parts for numerical or control differences is just kind of work instead of play.
What’s the Izve super weapon
It is a thrown explosive device that creates a dome shaped damage zone on the field that endures for about 5 seconds while covering a significant portion of the field. Since I have to dramatically remove it from my cleavage and physically throw it, actually detonating it on impact in your face is something of a skillshot, but the space control is still incredibly beneficial.
It is also a skill shot when I circle around and just extendo-arm punch you back into it like I'm tucking you into for bed.
Hey Izve, you got a really good partner on your side. Were you two a perfect match, or was it a bit like opposites attract? What do you specifically look for in a partner, anyway?
I ported this question from my lewd alterpsring, and also wanted to note that it's like 5 months old so it actually predates me and Aya dating.
We kind of just sync with one another very well, though we're also pretty oppositional to one another in ways that I think are complimentary or probably better serve to support our weaknesses. When we're together we're both always making the same kind of jokes, if not the same one, and always ready to go on the attack with one another in every playful way. Like we always know just where to poke the other one, and we both have an fairly easy time speaking heart-to-heart.
The easy example is that Aya is a self-stated overthinker and I love the danger zone. If we are ever making plans or talking about anything, she'll almost always have a perspective on it that I wouldn't have considered at all. If she's ever hesitating with something or getting caught up in her own head, I will push her forward safely cause I've already stepped on all these rakes.
As for what I was looking for in a partner, I did think for a while what my ideal partner would be like and I just encapsulated it as Marine Houshou. Marine is someone who is incredibly silly and very open about her sexuality, but is also very wise and emotionally intelligent. She doesn't take herself seriously but doesn't wouldn't let herself be walked over (metaphorical, literal probably though). And she has great artistic taste and passion.
So imagine my surprise when I found someone who hits all those bulletpoints and I have an incredible chemistry with.
Do you have a backstory for Izve? Also what do you think was the catalyst for your love of robots?
The initial backstory for Izve was that she was a labor robot from a far space society brought to a research outpost within the moon. Once the research was concluded, she was to be formatted and left behind as scrap because it was cheaper to just abandon their obsoleted tech than bring it home and dispose of it. But someone forgot to turn off the automated software maintenance task that reboots her and leaves her stranded alone with no connection to home, nothing to do, and only a faint connect to Terrestrial internet.
But maintaining VTuber kayfabe is very tedious when you're just hanging out all the time.
I just always liked robots though, robots are cool. Though the main two things that made me go "Oh my gender has to be robot" are the Polynian toyline by Daibadi and, more significantly, indie idol Tsukasa Uduki. The moment I saw her I was totally enamored. All I wanted to do was to figure out how to build my own helmet and bodysuit, but that was very difficult and it turns out I was never going to leave the house again so being a Vtuber was the better choice.
What is your favorite dinosaur?
