depends on my mood tbh. of course to be genuinely understood by a few is certainly better, but hey being liked by many feels good sometimes even if it's fleeting and shallow

I prefer to be deeply understood. Even if you're liked by everyone, being "mischaracterized" (for lack of a better word) just makes me feel like I'm a person(?) of sorts to them. To be loved it to be known.

i'm not really the type of person to put myself out there in a way where i'd have to think about the latter (at least not intentionally) and also one of the most important things to me is being understood (& hate being misunderstood)

I would rather be deeply understood by people!! i think being understood is more valuable than being liked, especially if you feel isolated it's very healing to feel understood by others
