i appreciate this so much!! i really enjoy writing them, and i'm so happy to hear that people love how i write them. that's a repetitive sentence but i don't have the brain space to edit that properly right now. but i genuinely am so thankful you think so and i hope to write many more things soon 💙

do you know any other languages than english?
sadly nothing fluent, just words here and there - i learned enough japanese to be able to get by okay while i was there this year, and would like to continue learning that informally because i'd love to go back, and i listen to a lot of japanese music. i'm also very casually learning some korean because i watch/listen to so much korean it would be nice to understand more, and i'd love to visit one day

yeah!! i've been playing overwatch since 2017 (comp only, support main haha) so that's what i play most often, but my favourite game of all time is ghost of tsushima, and my favourite series is mass effect (me2 is my favourite of the series)! i also love bg3, stray (which made me cry my eyes out), abzû, and i played a LOT of acnh during covid 💙

oh man i have so many... so off the top of my head, a more recent one! time (is never time at all) by saru. i love the time loop concept, it plays well with the canon compliance and they're one of my favourite minsung writers - always solid characterization and beautifully done. i love how we get to put the pieces of each "loop" together as jisung does, and it's just so well written with a lovely ending. i'm a sucker for a good "us in every universe"

you seem to prefer writing canon compliant fics (not a complaint!), is there any particular reason or you just prefer those vibes? are there any aus you like or want to write someday?
i really love this question!! i find that i work best creatively when given a set of boundaries to play in. it can be so overwhelming to me otherwise (i get decision paralysis buying groceries) that i prefer to have some kind of direction to go in. for me, that tends to be canon compliance, because i can work with what they give us and what we can interpret. and what they do give us is so rich and complex and fun that i feel like there's so much that can be done there, and i love to explore headcanons and expand on the things we see. minsung especially keep feeding us such good stuff it takes up a lot of my brain space haha
BUT i actually would like to write an au! i did start a boxing au for a big bang event that i dropped out of, but didn't feel very strongly about it. i'm about to attempt one for real, but it would still be quite grounded and slice-of-life because i do enjoy that personally. and hopefully that'll be an easy way for me to start exploring other things.

what is your favorite minsung moment that you think is underrated? what is you favorite probably pretty popular one?
i've been thinking about this question for ages because i am truly stuck for choice here. every moment is my favourite somehow, but some of the best ones that tend to slip under the radar a little more are those really quiet ones, like when they press their thighs together or their fingers brush and linger - it happens so much i can't even think of a specific example. as for my favourite pretty popular one, it HAS to be that spin during comflex. like are you KIDDING me, the hand on the waist and the turn and those looks?! god!!!! and also, the first hong kong back hug but specifically when jisung is leaving the stage and he looks back at minho twice with the biggest, dorkiest smile on his face. and and and the face minho gave him in osaka the first time he said his name... augh!!!!! they make me insane!!!

aaah thank you for noticing!! most of the research was making sure i got the timeline as close to correct as possible, especially with the dorm split, because i'm such a nerd about these guys there was nothing really surprising or new to me 🙈 i definitely drove myself insane thinking about the sydney pool date all over again, and especially the songs jisung sang and shared on bubble that day--so honestly i guess what stood out the most was how big of a role music plays in their relationship. i wanted to make that a key part of the story!
