I don’t think viserys cared enough about aemma to name any of his children after her, he married alicent less than a year after she died. aemond was NOT named after this lady, I don’t know why her fans think otherwise. he was clearly and very unfortunately named after daemon.
anyway, this is my official petition for the fandom to stop using her name for fem aemond fics, if anything aemond would be named after alyssa. aemond has a lot of things in common with his grandmother, who would’ve adored him, and nothing to do at all with his father’s late first wife.
