Book Aemond saying that he had no need of his brothers or their dragons, and then immediately following up with, ‘Aegon is too badly hurt and Daeron too young.’ He gave so many fucks about them. He gave all the fucks in the world. People can try and say he didn’t and cling to lines taken out of context or digested on a surface level, but Book Aemond loved his family.

I, of course, need to talk about Book Aemond being the one to think about the fact that Daeron was, in his own words, “too young.” He saw him as his little brother, first and foremost. I just know the day Aemond became Daeron’s older brother was one of the happiest moments in his entire life.
