Aemond, the fierce and proud prince of House Targaryen, finds himself unexpectedly drawn to a mysterious outsider, a charismatic and rebellious figure who embodies everything Aemond secretly desires: freedom, danger, and the thrill of the unknown. Their connection ignites a passion that challenges everything Aemond has been taught about duty and allegiance.

One fateful night, beneath the cloak of darkness, this beloved stranger—a rogue maester with a haunting past—steals Aemond away from Westeros, heading straight to Volantis. No warning, no farewell, only a whispered promise of escape and a shared longing for a new life beyond the reach of courtly obligations.

They leave behind a simple, handwritten note, a final act of defiance and sacrifice, and were never heard from again.

Aemond running off with a mysterious outsider, I love the drama of it. He is getting as far away from home as possible and never looking back. Though, I am sure attempts were made to find him. He is a prince after all and the rider of Vhagar, who has gone with him. Surely a dragon of her size would be easy to spot and wherever she is, Aemond would be. But it is as if she also had no want to be seen and so she wasn't.
